it was rumored that it would be announced yesterday that the US would get a TC repaint of MP11, along with MP10 with the trailer. the only part they announced was the MP10.
but its pretty early , given their previous cycles of announce-release-release in US. I wouldnt expect to hear anything on US MP11 until Winter at best.

I posted it in the other thread, it came from the seibertron.com podcast from last week. They didn't mention a source, they just sort of said "here's the rumor, we didn't post it as news because its a rumor"

    So who knows.

Why not? Hasbro/Takara are trying to stick it to Igear...

    Also this ^^

If Hasbro is going to keep up with Takara in releasing 2 MPs per year, it makes sense to announce the large/higher priced one in spring for a summer release (to capitalize on Christmas buying) and announce the other less expensive one (in this case MP-11 or a repaint of it) in the winter for a spring '13 release (to capitalize on tax refunds maybe?) but so that they're spread apart a bit.

Of course, they could also just have MP-11 as another exclusive for this year, perhaps Target or WM. We wont know till they to it though... =/

they were virtually the same time last year. SDCC was late july, and the first retail sitings at TRU were early august.
SDCC is about the same time this year (mid july) so hopefully they follow suit.

I doubt the US will get an MP Thundercracker before Japan...it just makes no sense at all.

As cool as this would be, should this topic not be in the toy discussion area?? The isn't news, and really isn't a rumor yet, is it??
