Alas all good things must end.

Thundercats was a victim or both a poorly promoted toyline and a poorly handled series.

Poor handling meaning that CN could not maintain a steady stream of episodes for the entire season.

I'm not surprised but it still pisses me off. It was such a superb series and deserved a proper ending.

Incredibly disappointing. First Symbionic Titan, now this. Just...fuck.

And Beware the Batman looks ridiculous, btw. Focusing on the lesser known Batman villains? Why? They are lesser known because they suck.

I'm not sure why this isn't in the Thundercats thread, but at any rate, I'm completely unsurprised at this point.

I'm not surprised at all. This IS Cartoon Network after all, where good shows go to die.

The show was really just OK. And just because THIS show is dead, doesn't mean a new one won't be done.

Sigh this just reminds me of the cancellation of Masters of the Universe reboot, another great show cancelled before its time. :(

Yeah, this will be blasphemy to some, but I enjoyed the '02 Masters more than I did re-watching the original Masters.

Not that it would have saved the show, but I think they should have re-aired the episodes more often. Other than the first episode and one other - I could never seem to catch the show!

I always missed the Friday night episodes (I'm normally at a bar somewhere Friday night :D ), and I rarely saw them on at other times. I think one time I caught one on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention...
