This is my set of 4 inch Thundercats, and their Ho. Ho (Cheetara) was the most disappointing of the figures with her dumb and lacking articulation, plus her legs came apart easily, so I gave her an all new SUPER LEG CHOP ACTION feature. I did lots of little touch ups on these guys, but perhaps most importantly I painted those stupid black pins in all of the joints.
I already explained why in the OP, but I got a good laugh out of your response. Lol you talk like it is appalling to behold this deeply disturbing horror. Her legs were falling off easily and stayed together by pegs and holes. I just painted the holes and pegs for SUPER BONUS LEG CHOP ACTION. Now they stay together much better and hell, I thought it was kinda funny. I was one of those who cringed then laughed when Robocop drove through that guy melting from toxic sludge and he exploded over the windshield. Sometimes I giggle when a zombie gets killed real good on my TV too. WTF is wrong with me! :O
You should have only painted the left half of each figure then canceled the project. Fantastic paint job man. I laughed at Cheetara.
Thanks. Really I was just bored and it seemed like an easy and obvious silly feature to give her due to the crappy legs. Hah, just the fact that I like Metalocolypse tells me I have a wacko sense of humor. Yeah, she is pretty terrible. Even her head and hair are attached to her back. Surely there was a way to do her figure more justice. They are the only ones I see in stores anymore. I didn't paint them though. I think they look fine as they are, plus with so little articulation, I think they are only for looks anyway... Just to complete the team. I don't get it... But thanks for the compliment!
NOOO!!! Really? I wasn't sure it'd get a 2nd season and I must say the first half of season 2 wasnt nearly as good as the first, but that is unexpected. So that last show where Pumyra betrayed Liono was the last one? I'm getting really sick of shows I like getting canned before they finish. Stargate Universe, Terminator SCC, Camelot, and now this... I almost feel silly for even painting these now!
Well I don't know if it's official yet but there are heavy rumors, including it being absent from Cartoon Network's list of returning shows. Do some Google-fu to get the full story. But yeah it kinda didn't live up to what it could gave been...
wait are you sure it's been canceled, they're not making any new episodes anymore? this sucks i really enjoyed the reboot too damn it!
