    To elaborate: why do they even exist? How did they make it past the radar into the show? And how many kids did they attract?

    Quick answer I guess? Japan has different attitudes towards nudity, what is appropriate for children, and transformers in general, compared to North America.

    Also probably because the animators figured they'd get away with it.

    I have no idea, but she was the shell-former to end all shell-formers.

    In spite of that, I kinda wish she would show up on Prime.

    Probably just a bit of fun on the part of the modelers. Her chest armor is supposed to be covering all that up. The attention to detail they gave her likely wasn't meant to be seen, but clearly there was a little slip here and there.

    The animation was by Gonzo. The same people who made flying without pants normal.

    I heard one story, I don't remember where, which says that Gonzo was reusing CG models already built for another show with Transformer parts built on to save time and money. They made a lot of the show fast and didn't closely review a lot of the final renders and, well...the rest lives on in infamy.

    I think its more of the designers pulled what they did for Blackarachnia. Went to an adult club for inspritation if you catch my drift.

    Yeah, I don't get that. Thunderblast has actual boobs with nipples hidden under her chest plate (breastplate?). TFP Arcee has an angular torso with female proportions, but definitely no boobs.
