Both THS molds are tiny, but I like them and THS-02 is wonderful. The alt. mode isn't great, but I'll never display them that way so I don't care. The black repaint is also fun.

This prie has been on my mind for a while now too. I wanna get it but 60 plus shipping for something smaller than robotmasters is a tough pill to swallow. Looks really good though.

These are very cool.. and you really dont realise until you actually have one. I have mine in robot mode all the time, and that is so good he doesnt need a truck mode. I am constantly changing the pose and messing with him. In fact, I bought a second for my desk at work. The stand he comes with is cool. I think that he is worth the cost alone, but the trailer and roller seal the deal.

There was a rumour of the dinobots being done, but there is no word on them for about a year now.

Haven't taken mine out of the box in the longest time. It's just not that great. I like it as a posable figure, but not as a transformer. The diecast adds a nice sense of weight, but the plastic feels a bit cheap and flimsy.

It's always seemed so small to me. I think about it and then a voice in the back of my head says, "You have the MP!"

I just got this guy from BBTS... why hell would they not make more of these?? The cab does look a little silly, but like most people said, it's easily overlooked because of how awesome he is in bot mode, comes with the trailer, and all those extras, etc,... if they made a whole line of these I'd buy every single one.

I did have a question for anyone who got one when they first came out...

Trying to figure out if I got a reissue or a left over. It was MISB from BBTS, but the box looks a few years old, and on the trailer it says "Takara 2006." I'm guessing it's a reissue and the mold has the date on it, but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to tell? Thanks.

Another aspect of THS-02 that's worth reminding, it's designed by legendary mecha designer Shoji Kawamori.

That adds another coolness factor to him imo.

Yes the cab mode is crappy. Yes it is dangerously weak in some areas. The worst thing is that it is not in scale with anything so has no play value. But.......

    He is absolutely badass.

I finally got the MP-04 with trailer. I still need to get this.

Can some also post pics of him next to the Deluxe Optimus Prime?

I think its a fair price, Mine is my favorite piece of my collection, I actually have collected almost all the wst autobots just to go with this piece, the scale is not exact but its close enough for me, also Titanium G1 Ultra Magnus goes with its scale just fine, I think Hybrids would have made a good toy line, -------- HASBRO! (listen for once) lol!
