Can some who has the THS-02 Hybrid Style G1 Convoy Optimus Prime post some comparison pictures? If possible, pictures of him next to Classics Prime both truck and bot mode.

Jeez! It's smaller than a Revoltech?

How does he feel for his size? Heavy?

The blue lower legs are diecast and some of the chest so there's a bit of heft to him. Plus the diecast being so low down makes him nicely posable even if you're not using the stand. Go on, get one. It's a mini Prime with an awesome trailer and a Matrix that stores in his chest.

So kind of hefty, posable, die cast. Are the wheels rubber?

ths is in my top three primes of all time, if it wasn't for the g3 trailer, he would even beat classics prime, even roller is a great piece

    This.
It is a hell of a figure.
I have it in the same pose as MP Prime standing right in front of it.
    Makes for a great display.

That's just a little too much for me to spend on something that small. He looks cool in robot mode, but that's a fugly alt mode. I actually had him confused with the classics deluxe figure for a while because of that alt mode. If I want something that small, that I'll never see in alt mode, I'll stick with revoltech.

Agreed about the alt mode. He basically has no alt mode. And he's just too tiny. The big price tag is that much more a turn off.

However this was hand designed, and is probably the 2nd best Robot Mode Prime of all time next to Masterpiece.

Yeah the Cab mode sucks, but the accessories in the trailer with the jetpack doublng as a cab fridge unit is genius.

This figure BLOWS AWAY Revoltech! It's worth the money as well as the packaging being just amazing for collectors!

I have the THS-02 and the Nemesis version.

THS kicks the ass off the Revoltech. The arm posability is superior, you get more hands, you get somewhere to store the hands, the Matrix stores in his chest, he can hold his Matrix, you get the energon axe, the trailer kicks ass by itself, and Roller has four wheel steering. Yeah.

I'm currently awaiting delivery of THS-02 and from all the pics I've seen so far I think it looks way better than the Revoltech.

I was all about getting one of these until I watched a video review. The alt mode looks terrible, the bot looks off in the torso area, and honestly, it looks like something I'd mess around with for maybe a half hour after taking it out of the package only to throw on a shelf and never touch again. So after seeing that I was pretty glad I was out-bid. Just doesn't seem worth it.

I have the THS G1 Convoy. It's an impressive piece, but also the corporeal representation of my dislike for figures/toys made more for collectors than kids. It's complex, fiddly, and seemingly fragile in spots, with tons of easy-to-misplace accessories (at least you have the trailer to store them here)

I didn't really understand the point of the THS-01 figure. Other than the various hands, it didn't seem to offer anything the original toy didn't.

Size matters in Japan in a funny way, is why. They have been working so hard to make everything smaller last 200 years.

That alt mode looks hidious. I was always contemplating getting this guy...but maybe there's a reason why I never pulled the trigger.

I just ordered the D.I.A. Commander Japanese Exclusive Trailer Commander so next time I get some cash, I'll order this. Thanks for the pics.

To me it's like a mini MP Prime. Price is an issue sometimes but I would rather pay $60 for this than $60 for the G1 Re-issue Hasbro released.

Until you own him you will not understand his awsomeness.
The figure, the packaging and everything else just screams cool!!
It might not be everyone's thing due to the small size, but for me that is part of the apeal.
All I can say is if you get it you won't be dissapointed.
I'm thinking of getting a second to keep MISB just becouse I love it that much !
