another Seeker in my Custom-Pipleline, startet 2 Weeks Ago, cause ich made some problems. groudned with spray und brushed with self-mixed acrylics

he is a VERY early wip!

    29.03.2009

deleted old pics, added new wip-pics

my very big problem is: my selfmade red colour is empty, the grounding with spraywhite absorbs all paint :-(

this mad eme really sad and dissappointed

    I agree, awesome wings!

Paint looks a little rough as you can see white showing through in some spots. Do you disassemble to paint? You might want to try it. It makes painting easier and gives you cleaner results.

Wow...now that is a nice update. I actually just picked up G1 Thrust wings to make a Classics version...but this would have been a much better way to go...

...Are these totally custom, or are they part of something?

    here is the answer:

i cut the ings in a half with a saw, glued them (looks aweseome, i will do the next time again!), added turbines from comanche-helis (i must mod one mirrorwise) add some wingparts (selfmade)

i say it agein: this guy is a very early wip, the paint-apps will be corrected!

    Vertical Take Off and Landing

Great job!! I actually like the brownish color, it's a nice approach!

Of course the wings are aces, like everyone else has stated!!:thumb

IMO, the color turned out pretty well. The only thing I'd do is maybe throw a semi-gloss top-coat on it. But then again, who am I to give painting advice. Mine kinda sucks. And I said it already, but I love the wings!

thank you guys, the vtols are from a modelkit of 2 comanche-helicopters.

one of them i must cut and reattech them mirrorwise. it was harder to to make it than a expected.

top-coat is in planning, i hope it will cover some brushmistakes.

i feel really sad that my redbrown colour (mixed of red, blue and white) went away empty
