that doesnt look bad at all i have to say. i cant wait for mine to arrive!

 

I'm getting both but I think the botcon looks better, I like the black and the smaller wings look in better scale to me.

 

I like the light grey face on the Henkei a lot better!
Botcon Thrust also almost looks like a chibi/choro-Q jet, with those small wings, compared to Henkei Thrust.

 

I like the Henkei version a lot. Both versions are very nice. But, yeah, I agree that the Botcon version's wings are a little too cramped and busy in comparison.

 

I like the Botcon one a lot more, one of the few were the Henkei is definitely not as good. I think it's the black, I'm not a fan of the gray they used on the Henkei nor am I a fan of the colors on the wings. It's also the fact that the Botcon molds use the Ramhet mold with missle launchers and everything wile the Henkei is kinda a combo of both, I think they both would have looked far better using the Ramjet mold like the Botcon one did.

 

Both versions are cool but not without their faults. I think Henkei's larger wings are better proportioned for the jet mode. I wish the VTOL engines weren't so close to the edge of the wing when attached though. It would have been better if the peg hole was more centered in the middle of the wing. I also would have preferred they used the darker gray that Henkei Ramjet has so they matched.

Can't wait for my set to arrive.

 

Both are cool in their own way. Interestingly, I feel the wings look a bit too short on the Botcon version, and too long/wide on the Henkei - and both sets of wings look better in robot mode than jet.

 

I like both.

The Botcon one is more like the original toy, while the Henkei one is more like the show.

 

Maybe it's my fault for being so Dreamwave influenced, but when I think about Thrust this is how I picture him.

Due to that factor, the Henkei Henkei one just seems kinda wrong. I mean either way, they are nice figures that I probably shouldn't buy due to their price tags ＿|￣|○

 

Won't be getting it, but the Henkei one is MUCH nicer.

 

You picture him with hands bigger than his head, blasters/launchers of different lengths, and wings attached to his thighs at different angles with differently-sized Decepticon symbols on them?

Poor Thrust.  

 

Well, neither one has monster thighs like that, so it's a toss-up.

I hadn't even realized they didn't have the same missiles as Ramjet until the earlier post made me check the pics again. That's odd.

I still can't wait to get them though. I really like the look of Thrust.

 

I think I might sell Thrust now having seen more of him, Dirge is pure love but Thrust has turned out pretty "meh" for me, the Botcon one destroys it in my opinion.

Also please try and keep these threads together as there's a bunch of threads on this already. Thanks
