Yes, three of the original C&C games are now free, direct from the official site, to help promote Command & Conquer 4 being released soon.

    The games are:
    Command & Conquer
    Command & Conquer: Red Alert.
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun with Firestorm

C&C is two downloads, one for the GDI disk and one for NOD disk (GDI is 581MB, NOD is 565MB)
Red Alert is two downloads, one for Allies and one for Soviets (each around 500MB)
Tiberian Sun with the expansion pack Firestorm is one single download, weighing in about 1.2 GB

You can get them here, along with links on how to install, though C&C and RA installs are written for XP

All very fun games, though the graphics really haven't aged well. For my money Red Alert 2 is still one of the most fun RTS to play ever.

I doubt the graphic would have aged well, but still they are fun games and free as well.

RA2 was a fun game, but I've been enjoying RA3 recently. Thinking of picking up the Uprising add on.
Though I wish these had been released through Steam.

Thanks for the post. Think I'll try my hand at a few of them.

I wish they had kept with Tiberium, that would have made a fun game.
