Anyone else hope they bring him back in some form or another in TF2? I really liked Jazz ( mostly in G1 ). I felt they captured his character pretty good given the short amount of time on screen. Quite frankly, I like Jazz better than Ironhide and would rather have IH go instead. So post in this thread if you think Bay should bring Jazz back in the second movie. Maybe he'll see this thread and take it into consideration.

Um...not really, I rather have other new Autobots arrive on Earth instead of spending half hour on explaining how to revive Jazz in the next movie.

I like Jazz, but he just doesn't have much significant impact for him to return from dead

Leave Jazz alone. The whole revival thing, is lame enough.

Well, if trilogies are any indication, I'm going to guess that Movie #2 sort of lets you believe that Megatron is dead, then the last scene shows you Megatron coming back, then Movie #3 has the Autobots vs. Megatron again for a big climactic conclusion to the (first?) trilogy.

I'm just guessing, mind you, but that's how it usually goes for trilogies.

I don't want them to come back. I don't even want a sequel. I think that a sequel would ruin this movie, like the emotion of Jazz's death would be for nothing. The way it ended didn't seem like an opening for a sequel for me, unless I see the interlude where Starscream escapes(can anyone post it, please)

i think that they should have done more characterization on jazz, and had a more dramatic losing battle between him and megatron.

in Serenity, when Wash dies at the end abruptly, i almost lost my mind! my heart wrenched! but thats because we learn to love him throughout the movie. Jazz, on the other hand, while still dying abruptly at the end of the film, had four or five lines.

and yes, Megatron needs to come back as Galvatron and kick the living shit out of Starscream

Be comforted with the bio on the back of the card of the G1 repaint of Movie Jazz. Even if it IS an alternate/extended universe at least there is hope.

My best friend cried. He's now pressuring me to buy the Jazz toy, but I told him I'm waiting for the G1 deco.

Jazz was cool in his limited scenes, but I'm hard pressed to understand how all you guys got so attached to him. Everybody says he went out as a hero too...I didn't see that. I saw him get picked up, fire off a couple rounds at Meg's feet, and get ripped in two. There was no fight and no contest, and I sure didn't feel "emotionally attached" to a character that had about 3 sentences of dialog.

Bumblebee was pretty much the only bot that I felt for.

Oh, and one more thing: Prime IS a dick, he was a pushy dick throughout the whole movie!

I agree with Poho (about Jazz and Wash). Jazz looked really awesome in the computer animation, the way he moved like an acrobat/breakdancer. He was such a visual feat to look at the way they had him moving compared to some of the others that it seems like such a waste to kill him off so early in the trilogy. They needed a longer time to set up us caring about him. And his death in the final battle was so quick, it felt like just another beat in the script. Slowing thing down for some reation shots from the other Autobots might have helped. The loss of BB's legs was more dramatic.

Of course there is the movie toy continuity in which Jazz's new G1 paint job toy is the result of Ratchet simply rebuilding him as it says in his bio so there is some sort of hope Jazz fans as Jazzmeister pointed out.;)

Jazz must come back in TFIII as one of Shockwave's maniacal pretender experiments.

The movie wouldn't be as dramatic if all the "good guys" all cam out alive. I'm glad that it was Jazz who died
