Just Sayin'. Honestly, I would like to see a smokescreen repaint.I mean,we've seen Prowl and Jazz,why not Smokescreen?

Seriously though, I've been reading this thread,and these are all very,very good points.I agree that he's hiding something.

 

I like him. and he does remind me of armada hot shot. which is funny because I didn't like him that much.

 

I have to agree that Smokescreen isn't telling the Autobots something.. I honestly doubt he's a spy, though. I just don't get that feel.

 

see heres the thing about him being "too adept at combat" you gotta remember that he did train as a member of the elite guard, so he did have combat training. also on the relics, as others have said he studied under a3, and as for him rushing off stupid, it actually was the only choice, cons are about to get a relic, all you guys except the newbie cannot be reached, who do you send the newbie who might get killed but is willing to try or your only medic who doesnt really see much combat?

 

Maybe Shockwave put something in his head. Smokescreen's probably not even aware of it himself. 'Smokescreen' certainly is a good name for a character being secretly used by the enemy towards some unknown end.

 

I love this character. He brings so much life to the show. I just hope he gets a toy and doesn't get killed off.

 

I have to admit, I like him. Sure, he's inexperienced, a little reckless, and a little bit of a screwup, but he's freaking hysterical. He also brought out Jack's more humorous side. When was the last time you heard an Autobot or human laughing their asses off on this show? Seriously, I can't even remember it.

God, we needed him so badly. My only regret is that they didn't give his personality to Bumblebee, since it would fit so well. Ah, well.

 

What is this? Crysis 2?

 

I think the only thing off about Smokescreen is his inexperience--every other Autobot has seen more conflict than he has; they lived through what he dreams to have done.

Having graduate from the Elite Guard Academy, he had aspirations to be like all the other warriors who had preceded him. Unlike so many others who were sent to the front lines of war, he was assigned to safeguard the vault of Iacon, an important task he failed to grasp the importance of.

Alpha Trion saw something in this young Autobot, as such he confided in him sensitive information that made his union with Team Prime possible--Alpha Trion wouldn't have shared anything important with him if he felt something about him was off.

Smokescreen is the new Hot Rod--I just hope he doesn't recreate the events of 1986.

 

I wouldn't worry. If he did Optimus would be back the next episode. Look at Bulkhead lol.

I don't see why it matters when you consider the number of vey fast cars in the Autobot's rank.

 

That's what I was thinking. He's not 'the traitor', I think he's more of a timebomb or a sleeper agent and eventually, Shockwave or someone elses programming will actvate.

 

Is there supposed to be a resemblance? Cause I don't see one.
