I agree, I had 4 vehicons, posted it in the sales thread here up for offers or trade. They were all gone in the span of a day.

Do you guys think all those Bulkhead's will sell? I mean...I don't think people are particularly excited for that mold. Or is it that he is going to sell those to people desperate to have ANY voyager Bulkhead in their collection?

If I saw a guy in the store with that many voyager Starscreams I would kick him in the balls, grab 3 and run away. And all 3 would be for me....I plan to get 3 so I can get them repainted (maybe modded a bit) into the classic trinity of Seeker godliness. I think Screamer could do with a bit more red in his alt mode.

No worse than people hoarding them. Either way you're preventing someone else who wanted one from getting it. Stuffing them at the back of the shelf and letting them gather dust doesnt make you better than the guy selling them on ebay.

I have three am car vehicons on preorder with hlj and three jet vehicons on Preorder with bbts. What I do with my money is my business.

 

Speak with your wallet. If enough people did this, scalpers wouldn't have reason to scalp. However, there's always someone out there who is willing to pay these prices or else these guys wouldn't do what they do.

I'd really enjoy some FE Prime figures, but I'm simply not willing to pay the prices they're going for. The same holds true for this current Prime stuff. If I happen across it, that's cool. If not, I can live without.

Scalping fuels my apathy more. And here I was just starting to enjoy this line some . . . .

 

I have 1 FE Vehicon as a officer and I have RID version for a trooper. Just need 3 more RID Vehicons and I am set.

 

What I'm trying to say is that buying one is fine, buying a whole bunch of something that is hard to find is kind of douchey. If its something easily found in plentiful supply then by all means buy as many as you like, but the vehicon isn't, and at this rate won't be for some time.

As for the 'what I do with my money is my business'; same applies to the scalpers. They make a profit by buying up and re-distributing merch. As long as people keep buying from them they'll keep doing this. Clearing shelves of certain figures. So yes, I am lumping you in the same group.

For the record, it isn't a bad group to be in. Just neither side of it should be getting all high and mighty over snagging all the vehicons in the area but not selling them. I really don't have any negative feelings toward either side. I just don't feel the need to get worked up about robits anymore.

As an aside; should I find a vehicon on shelves I will be leaving it there for someone else to buy.

 

Dude, relax. Vehicons will be easy to find in the next few years. Do we need these threads from every new TF collector every month? come on guys. Just go out and hunt around, you'll find em. This line hasn't even been out for over a year yet.

 

a third party company should make vehicons in robot mode that don't transform. that way i can have an army to display on my shelf.
