Sounds interesting and while I am excited over the show, I think they should introduce Don Blake and have a middle-earth setting.

isn't the symble for thor a swastica without the back ground stuff? I think i remember seeing that in some book. Yeah because all the nazi symbles are from other things in greek mythology and stuff.

Actually the theory is the Swastika may have been taken from Thor's real symbol, his hammer Mjolnir.

The swastika has been around for thousands of years, and was a symbol of good luck to the Vikings I believe. Granted, traditionally it is not tilted like the Nazi one. The symbol most associated with Thor is Mjollnir, his hammer, which has a couple different looks depending on the period.

Back onto the main topic, I'm curious about this, sounds like it could be cool if they don't make it silly. Always wanted there to be a decent Thor cartoon so I'm really hoping this turns out alright.

I really like this idea. Although my brother was saying how people are going to be "Thored out" come time for his movie or "The Avengers" for that matter. Were getting "Thor vs. Hulk", "Thor: Son of Stone" (Marvel Animated Movie), then Thor in the new Avengers cartoon. Personally I don't care how much because Thor is one of my favorite Marvel heroes. So I am excited for this show.

Wasn't it a buddha symbol or something like that?

Why do you think so many people didn't believe (and still don't!) it when they heard about the concentration camps and what had happened there?

Thor cartoon. Cool. And I don't see how people will get "Thored out." People don't get "Spider-maned out" or "Batmaned out" no matter how many movies/series they have. It's about time someone else like Thor got his own series for a chance to break into the mainstream. This news excited me more than I thought it would, but my Marvel interest has been shifting lately to explore the Avengers characters, and Thor seems to be a pretty hot one worth checking out about now, with JMS. I'll be getting the Hulk vs. movie mainly for Wolverine, but the Thor story looks so cool too from the previews. Kinda funny I'm more interested in the Hulk movie for everyone but Hulk. And Thor's daughter rocked in the Next Avengers movie.
