Thor is out in RALEIGH, NC!
none on the floor, but a perky sales-lady went to the back and got one of each(but no Loki?)! I scored Battle Hammer Thor (oops, i reported on another site that i got Sword Strike Thor...didn't see him either, he's on the back of the package i'm looking at).
I also got the Ice "Giant" and Odin. I Saw, but have no desire for, Lightning Clash Thor due to his lack of articulation.
    $7.99 each at Target.

I've already got the Sword Spike Thor on preorder on BBTS, along with the movie Captain America figure.
I'll probably just wait for these figures to hit TRU, seeing as I still have a gift card for there leftover from Christmas. I am very excited for the movie versions of Red Skull, Bucky, the Warriors Three, and a helmeted Loki.
Otherwise, I really just need to save my money for the Hot Toys version of Thor and Cap.

Somebody was poking around Walmart computers and discovered that waves 2 and 3 of the Thor line contain the following.

    King Laufey
    King Loki (probably helmeted version)
Thor - Lord of Asgard (probably helmeted)
All King Odin (Again, probably helmeted)
    Fandral
    Volstagg
    Hogun
    Sif
    Destroyer

Make of that what you will, we'll probably see them come Toyfair. It sounds pretty good to me, the only character missing here is Heimdall.

my toysrus got the thor toys in today but we didn't stock them because of the street date. That didn't stop us from playing around with the hammers in the back haha.

The street date is march first but It was inevitable that some stores would break that date.

I just saw some of the Thor line at TRU. I'll probably get one of the thousand Thor figs they'll make, and probably a Loki, but they look a little bland or something.

Saw the Thor toys save the main 3 3/4" line figures put out at Target, though they did have the $12 "Deluxe" ones like Frost Giant with weapons. Decided that I'm goign to wait for the eventual 2 for $10 sale TRU has every once and a while for the Hasbro 3 3/4" stuff, though I'm not sure if I should grab Spike Sword Thor or wait for the helmeted on as I don't like picking up multiples of a character, except for maybe Iron Man.

I also noticed the Role Play Mjolnir is completely hollow, just rubber filled with air :(

i wonder if MC Hammer will make a cameo in the Thor movie, or have Hammer Time playing during a fight scene? the fever is getting worse.

It would have to be, considering how fragile kids are these days.

I remember the Sword of Omens I had as a kid was hollow, but made of some pretty damn tough plastic, with a surprisingly pointy tip to it. You could seriously crack someone on the skull with that thing.

As for Thor toys, I'll probably pick up a Thor and Loki, but that's about it.

Yeah that kinda sucks. The nerf hammer isn't hollow but its also really tiny. I hope they make a larger nerf hammer eventually.

Caved and picked up Spike Sword Thor today, I love how he has the new neck joint that some Marvel Universe figures have been using and I hope this becomes a standard. I only have two real complaints:
1.The way his arms are sculpted they can't go in any farther than how they are in package, so his arms are always slightly out at about a 30 degree angle :/
2.It's impossible to get him to hold his Sword, good thing I didn't snip those clear bands since you'll probably need them if you want him to hold it.

Me too. I haven't opened him yet though... I'll get to it this weekend. Good to know about the sword/clear bands. I kind of like the other Thor a little more (not the light up/no arm articulation one), but I'm only after one Thor fig and I needed it to have a cape.

My TRU will be getting their Thor toys next Tuesday. I'll get Sword Spike Thor then, and if I'm not totally satisfied with him, I might just return him and wait for the Thor with the helmet. That one has a better Hemsworth sculpt anyway. But we'll see.
Could one of you guys post a pic of Sword Spike Thor with a IM2 Iron Man, preferably the Mark III?
