I'm happy. I'm tired of the movie stuff right now. Thank god it's going to be two years without seeing anymore movie toys restocked on the shelves.

Sure feels good to like Transformers stuff that aren't the movies.

I'm happy. It's good to be able to go to my local Kmart, Target or Big W and not seeing Movie crap warming the pegs.

I personally don't really care for now. With TFP and FOC, I'm glad that I don't need to worry about another movie for now. When the movie comes, then I'll start to be interested.

I'm happy that there's a break. It gives me a reason to focus on TFP instead of the movies.

What an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself to other Transformers fiction. So many shows and comics you can immerse yourself in.

I'm happy. Fed to the teeth with movie material.

I'm not too miffed with a lack of movie stuff. Feels kind of nice to be able to focus my attentions on something other than movie stuff. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next movie toyline, but for the time being, Prime and FOC stuff will be filling the void quite nicely.

Little bit of absolutes with the choices, so here's my answer... I love the movies with a passion and will always love them, but a short break can't hurt. If it was possible and up to me, TF4 would be out this month. :D

Finally the non-movie lines won't be overlooked by retailers.

I'm going to miss it but then again I guess there are lots of TV programmes and movies coming out to fill the void.

Even though I love the movies, it means that I don't have to buy from 3 different lines now.

    A break is really nice.

Live action movies tend to be the 800 pound gorilla in the room. To get the profits they need studios have to bombard you with so much advertising that everyone connected to the modern world will know the movie is coming out. Retailers get movie madness and that makes it tough to collect things that aren't movie related.

It feels like Transformers Prime has a shot at being successful now that it doesn't have to play second fiddle to the live action films.

I'm very tired of the movie aesthetic, so it's good to have a couple years of Prime and Generations to break it up.

You realize you just invited all the movie haters in to talk massive amounts of craps, right... I, however, royalty agree that no movie stuff does indeed suck.. I haven't felt as much thrill with tf's since the original RiD line.

Just because there will be no movie doesn't mean there will be nothing. The Transformers franchise thankfully isn't just the Bay movies.
However did Transformers fans survive before BayFormers ever even existed? Quite nicely thank you very much. And the same will be just as true between the movies.

Maybe the gap between movies will prompt some people to look outside BayFormers and see all the other cool stuff Transformers has to offer, past and present. So in that regard the gap is a good thing.

I'm starting to get sick of all these threads that are essentially about bitching about how there's no more movie toys.

Get OVER it, people! Yes, the movies are a cash cow, but it WAS going to have to end at some point. I for one appreciate the return to more simplistic, non-movie styles. I've had enough of the movie line for a while.
