The two biggest IMAX screen near me won't be showing DOTM! This is a total fail! Now I have to go to one of these fakeIMAX screen to see DOTM in 3D!
I have the same problem with finding an IMAX theatre with DOTM with or without the 3D in my area. WTH is up with this?? All the ones around here have plans to show Harry Potty 7p2 though
That sucks. I won't be able to see DOTM in 3D either. My theater's projector got damaged or something and it won't be back till after the summer.
Maybe its because they havent shipped out the movie to the theatres yet and they didnt add it into the theatres schedule? That thought just occured to me, Im slow.
Well the thing is, i checked their website and they got their schedule all the way through July and DOTM is not on their schedule. Usually, they advertised the movie they'll be showing in IMAX 1 month in advance, which in this case, for DOTM, they did not!
Awww that sucks! I have been searching for my local theater, it doesnt even have a trailer, but it doesnt say IMAX 3D, its happened before, hope it doesnt now. This is THE movie to see in IMAX 3D. (also it says were getting it on June 29th, Im not from the US, I thought it was july 1st for the rest?)
The theater Im looking at had shown ROTF in IMAX so I'd think they'd show DOTM too. This is annoying. I was really looking forward to seeing a TF movie in IMAX again
US and some select countries will have DOTM on June 29th. OTher countries will have DOTM on July 1st or a few days later. The two theatres im talking about screened ROTF when it came out exclusively for 1 whole month. If they don't screen DOTM, they better not screen HP P2, ima rage real hard!
Both of my local theatre schedule say 3D and the other just says Transformers Dark Of The Moon none of them say IMAX 3D!
The closest theatres showing DOTM Imax 3D for me are around 100 miles away from me apparently and both are in a different US State than I am. Yet there are 5 Imax 3D Harry Potter7 movies showing right in my area, I see a problem here!! Wasnt the TF 3D hyped up alot? Id assume that it would be everywhere! Whats going on
Check your local cinema's website or call them and ask. I know my local cinema "Lincoln Square" in Washington state is the smaller IMAX screen, whereas the one in the Pacific Science Center in Seattle is the real deal.
