YouTube - Transformers - Excellent, Ravage!
Yep. It's his Dr. Claw voice without the voice coding.
Yeah. He sounds awesome. He didn't sound as deep in the movie though.
I dunno, seemed pretty much exactly the same to me.
I'm glad they didn't use the vocoder. He sounded much more the sinister master mind, which he was. Orchestrating the Decepticons movements and relaying info. I think we'll see an extra as in the first film where they matched G1 Megs to movie Megs and it didn't fit. I don't think the vocoder fits movie Soundwave.
I think I prefer the Dr. Claw voice to the original now
What's the count on this clip being posted here within the last week? 10 times? 20?
I watched that episode just the other day.
Lol, sorry. Didn't realize that.
No, this doesnt make me happy about his voice. I do however like his design.
I cannot wait to see Soundwave in the third one. His facial design paired with the Dr. Claw voice made him seem so badass.
No worries. It was just talked to death when Soundwave's voice was first discovered. Its still a good find.
It a lot of voice topics around.
lol. Dr. Claw.
I actually laughed at that scene when I watched it again. Made me remined myself about that small error and then Frank now used that to his advantage for ROTF SW. Amazing what errors can do sometimes.
Yes, I prefer Soundwave's voice in the movie over the digitized version.
Take a look at my avatar guys ... the awesomeness that is robot-Soundwave.
Do, do, do, do, do...Inspector Gadget...
Why would hearing Soundwave do his impression of Dr. Claw, an obvious error, make anyone feel better? Granted, the Claw voice is not the worst thing in the world. But it is beyond reason why Bay chose Welker to voice Soundwave and then not use the vocoder. It's as if he wanted to anger fans of the original Soundwave. Why didn't he just do something really stupid, like give Soundwave a set of testicles? Oh, wait... he already did that to Devastator.
