Scientist claims jellyfish-like aliens exist - Telegraph
This article is awesome if you only read the last line.
"They will be available from Amazon and iTunes from July 20."
"...as many as four intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations could exist in our galaxy"
Where did that come from? There are billions of systems in the Milky Way, how exactly did she narrow it down?
Anyways I wonder what they taste like.
What is up with these obnoxiously misleading articles? *sigh*
Dr. Alderin-Pocock isn't claiming anything, just making educated speculation like a LOT of people interested in extra-terrestrials.
But of course no ones going to pick up on that and instead will make lame E.T. puns...
They look like cute little alien monsters that want to take over the universes and eat our brains. Just.....d'awww.
Blasto had better be real.
jelley fish mind me of karggen from flashman tv series

Yeeees. I thoroughly enjoyed the title reference.
Pretty much this.^

Yep, looks like we're about covered here. Interestingly enough though, this form of alien has been around in discussion for years and years as a theorized form. I remember reading about it as a possibility of creatures living in gas giants in books published in the late 70s and 80s. It's a cool idea, I guess, but not one we can back up all that much at this point.
Four? That makes Mankind´s work easier. Remember kids, if it bleeds, we can in theory kill it.
But what if it doesn't bleed??
Then we are fucked.
