(Spoilers)


...since Skywarp and Thundercracker were the two jets to go through the space bridge in the season finale, I wonder if they will somehow be reformatted into Cyclonus and Scourge next season? It would kinda suck only to have them as the classic characters for 2 short episodes though.

 

i hope they stick around as skywarp and TC for a while

 

My guess is, since they are the only two to disappear, they will probably rejoin Starscream later on, just like those 3 were a team in G1. The other clones will probably stick with Megatron.

 

maybe they'll return some way.

 

They'll probably stay t-cracker & skywarp when & if they re-appear.
Not every G1 story is going to be re-created in animated.
Animated may be G1 inspired,
but it clearly takes it's own path.

 

Well, I could care less about Thundercracker. Being the egomaniac makes him basically the carbon-copy Starscream anyway, so becoming either Cyclonus or Scourge would actually be a step up for him. But Skaredwarp is adorable, trembling in terror like that, he's just gotta stick around for the long haul.

If ANYTHING, Lugnut and Blitzwing would be better candidates to be reformatted. Lugnut, as the loyal-to-a-fault lieutenant is the perfect Cyclonus, and Blitzwing's three personalities could each get a different body, becoming a perpetually pissed off Scourge with a disinterested and a LOL RANDOM Sweep.

All that being said though, I don't see Cyclonus popping up anytime soon anyway, since he's got a Universe toy coming out pretty soon. Doesn't Hasbro have a thing about not wanting the same character in two different lines at the same time?

 

I get the impression that Starscream on his own is done. Next season, he might be back with Megatron, neither trusting the other, merely accepting they need each other for whatever reason.
Season 2 was all about Megatron Vs Starscream, I'd like to see some classic G1 interaction between them in future. A disloyal Starscream, who never quite outright "betrays" Megatron but leaps at every chance to get one over on him.

 

Same time sure, but, considering we're getting the last TFA Season1/2 toys early 2009, Cyclonus could be in the show and get his toy later.

Or knowing Animated he could be like Prowl and look 10% like his G1 version.

I'd also just like to point out that my previous post was made BEFORE I read http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/188291-animated-season-3-a.html and it's hints that Cyclonus WOULD be making an Animated appearance. I didn't think we'd see him in Animated at all, period.

 

i hope we start up season three with shockwave arriving, taking command and naming the seekers with proper names. perhaps he finds the other two and names them aswell. maybe he could keep blurr as a hostage for a while to give the autobots a mission to rescue him

 

I foresee Megatron and Starscream running into the missing seekers (and Blurr) on their way back to earth (riding in Omega Supreme's alt mode).

Maybe they'll be drawn to their All-Spark energy?

I really hope Thundercracker does not get reformatted. I have been waiting to see thundercracker on TV and have a bigger part than in G1. So i really like Thundercracker.

But what i think happen is that they may have got trapped on Cybertron or around cybertron.

And they may wake something.

 

Well, the rumors point to Cyclonus having bunny ears like his G1 counterpart. But Cyclonus as a separate character of Skywarp would be no big deal.

While I 100% agree that if Cyclonus does appear that his origin doesnt have to be anything like his G1 origin indeed I will be suprised if it is.

But if your willing to accept the rumours that S250 has put forth then it cant be the Armda version because even when he was under the impression that it was Galvatron he said it was a jet alt mode.

 

yes it is! The first episode uses g1 footage! Animated is totally in g1 continuity!!!!!11

 

Well but, y'know, S250 already said he looks G1-ny, even with jet mode and buddy ears.

However as far as we know, he could just be a jet with the same helmet and everything different including personality, origins everything.
