a fireplace? holy hell, what kind of kids or what ideas about kids you have in your mind???

personally, my goal in life is to protect my TFs from kids- my kids, those kids, any kids- and move into a nursing home and talk to them like KUP talked to Outback....

the only kids that i honestly can't stand are the ones that the parents didn't raise and so they run in the house, straight to my stuff like looters after a riot.
but then it's too late to discuss parenting skills after i break out my BOOMSTICK and create new Deadites, right? (j/k.)

'Tis the reason I keep the McDonald's and Burger King toys at ground level and the rest safely above <15 y old height.

Meh, substitute "fireplace" for anything else made of something incredibly strong and heavy, against which a toy like a TF will inevitably break. I'm not necessarily talking about an active fireplace and throwing something into a fire.

My sons almost 4 now, and over the last year he has come to really like my toy room. He always asks if he can play with the loose stuff. I always let him and teach him to put it back with all the weapons. Hes very carful and when Im not home never throughs a tamtrum to play with things.

Also he has become very good with his own toys. Wwhen I buy him stuff it always has the wepons and any loose peice in a draw.

My collection has taught him to take care of his own toys.

BUt I couldnt stop him fom playing with things, it would be wrong.

I think the way Abrogate handled it was excellent. IMO if a toy can handle it and is both easily replaced and not very expensive they should be played with.

I've been gradually sending my birthson my mint condition Dinobots over the last three years. Come next spring, he'll be 10, so I figure that's old enough to receive the responsibility of taking good care of Swoop while still being young enough to play with them if he wants. Yeah, I know, vintage Dinobots won't be able to take a lot of play, but I really sent them to him because they mean something to me, not for any other reason.

i thought the "battle damage" on your figures was going to be bigger, but you had luck this time.

I keep most of my collection stored, with the exceptions of figures I can afford to loose (junkers, multiples, etc)

I kind of wish I had a nephew with whom I could play with and introduce transformers to.
