Damnit Jimmy! shit shit!
At least the kid wasn't playing in the toilet...
Still though, why did they search the house when the determined it was the baby who called? Oh wait, it's Canada I don't know anything about their laws.
*EDIT* I liked this one better
I worry how much of the pot the dad smoked and if the child was in the room at the same time.
I'm reminded of a line in parenthood that keanu reeves said...you need a license to drive, you need a license to fish, but any asshole can be a father.
Canadian laws are pretty much the same as America.
I have no clue why they searched the house. The only way he will get convicted is if the weed was in plain line of sight. Although they may have smelt it but even then thats stretching it.
I'm sure with a good lawyer he will get off. If not 6 months tops if it is his first arrest of this kind. He will be out in 2 months. The only thing is the child but there was no mention of a mother. I just pray the child is fine when all is said and done.
Yeah random snooping about the house when the issue has been resolved just doesn't smell right to me, no matter what they found afterwards.
Could be that the dad had some suspicious behavior. Thats still pretty funny though.
Until it's sold to my kids or my kids friends. I have no respect for a guy like that.
baby narc is a dirty rat.
that's pretty awesome. but i'm wondering on what basis they were able to search the place
Picture this. Someone (Elizabeth Smart) who calls 911 but hung up because the kidnapper is in the room. Police responds to the residence to tell the person not to call 911 and hang up. (It's not good to call 911 for non-emergencies, illegal to prank call them) Police knocks. The Kidnapper hides the victim. After several knocks. Someone opens the door. Subject doesn't look like he was sleeping, bathing, or just got some.
Suspicious behavior + not knowing who called 911 = "May I search the residence"
From the cops point of view, the story is the same, but my made up story is too dramatic but plausible. If the Cops arrived at you house and you didn't answer the door immediately. Well you can be hiding something
