Sad to say it was worth it.

2009 Dodge Challenger R/T, 27J package, Hemi Orange, 6 speed manual, 20" Wheels, Track Pack, Nav, U-Connect, Sirius, Sound group II.

The fit and finish is really awesome (not just for an American car). I'll post more pics as I take them, if anyone is interested.

I still havent figured out how to get it in root mode.

I hope you got a pretty penny for those G1. But for me, I just can't do what you did.
I would have waited more time to get the money.

But Nice car. I wonder why the radio stations, compass, air temp is combined with the speedometer.

More pics are welcomed by me.

You gave up your toys for a car from a car company that's up shit's creek without a paddle because of the failing economy right now!?

Eh, I can dig it. Great haul there! :thumb

I was just telling my brother about your selling G1s for that car. He thinks you're a dope for doing so, and that you're most likely going to be trying to buy all your G1s back as soon as you finish making car payments.

Still... it was your choice. I think I'd rather try trading my Jeep for a car like that than give up my TFs.

Well looks like your an informed buyer, the R/T is the best mix of power/speed/cost aka bang for the buck. The SRT-8 package doesn't net the same upgrades for the money as well as your car does from the base V6 Challenger. Funny that I was just reading about this in Motor Trend. I think it was the December '08 edition, and they took the time to break down all the numbers properly. Anyhow, nice car! and a much better reason to sell off a collection than others have, since your car is gonna be a collectible in just a few short years with the new CAFE laws.

That is a sweet car. I'd sell every single toy in my collection to get one of those.

Except I already sold them all off. :D

Nice, I just got a new car as well, however I didn't have to sell my G1's to get it LOL. I traded a car like your new one, I had a 2002 Camaro Z28. I got a 2008 Ford Fusion Sport edition. What can I say, after having a car like that for 8 years I was looking for something a little more Grown up. For me at least. That is an awesome car but those kinds of cars are just not for me anymore.

Beautiful car! It hurts to sell the collection at first, but once you see the money add up, and you get closer to your goal, it stops being painful. I sold my stuff to buy my condo and I couldn't be happier. Yeah, there's no shelves on the wall with beautiful toys, but the family is happy.

    Enjoy the great car!
