This is probably a stupid question...

But I was looking over my collection......and outta the blue, it occured to me that every single Transformer I own has its weapon, in its left hand!

I didn't do this on purpose....just the way it happened.

I'm left handed....wonder if that has something to do with it?

    So I was wondering....

Are your Transformers right handed, left handed, or do you make a consious effort to change up some right, some left!

    :D  :D  :D  :D

I like the ones where I don't have to choose: either it fits in a certain hand better or it has 2 guns.

Other than that I think most of mine are pretty random.

    I'm a lefty.

Many of my favorite figures are also lefties, though generally Autobots are righties and so are cons, just figures that I like are lefties, regardless of faction.

Hmmm, I take it you don't own Movie Longarm? :)

I'm right-handed, but my figures are ambidextrous.... I usually put their weapon in whatever hand keeps it out of the way of the figures next to them, or whichever hand best suits the pose.

I'm right-handed and thus all my figures hold their weapons in their right hands, unless something prevents it. It's self-projection I guess.

I put the weapon in the hand relative to how it's positioned in the display since I have to cram alot of figures in to a small space.

I'm right-handed but I tend to make all of my favorite TFs lefties for some reason. Maybe it's my inherant nature to champion the underdog?

I'm ambidextrous but I can only write or draw with my left. However, my transformers are all right-handed.

I try to mix it up myself, but more often then not my bots end up righties.

I definitely vary it up. A lot of times If I got a repaint, I'll have it hold it's weapon in it's left hand, to differentiate it even more from the original. Others I just think the weapon looks better in the left hand :)

Yeah, that's one of my TF posing quirks; I'm left-handed, so I tend to make all my Autobots left-handed, and all my Decepticons right-handed.

I'm left handed as well so my TFs are the same. It is the superior hand despite being so sinister (zing!)

put me down as another rightie who subconsciously makes all his TFs righties unless he cant or they have 2 guns

there are a few instances of lefties in my collection. For instance, most of the Megatrons and Galvatrons who have right-arm cannons, I'll put a sword in their left hand, because putting both weapons on the same arm would seem off balance to me. (In the case of Classics Megatron, he actually stole other people's weapons, G1 Megs' mace in his left hand and Cruellock's sword in his right.

it seems that in Japan, they sometimes put a lot of emphasis on handedness as part of the personality (just like they do with blood type). For instance, Link being a lefty in Zelda is a big deal. And a lot of the characters in Naruto are either ambidextrous or left handed. I'd personally like to see some sort of guide book which gives 'official' hand designations to all the TF toys, so I could have some sort of standard to use instead of making everyone right-handed

also, when I have 2 TFs that are repaints and they come with 2 weapons (like Alternators Grimlock and Wheeljack), I usually try to switch which weapon goes in which hand on each figure.

Same here! If it allows me to have more shelf space, I don't care which hand the weapon's in! :)

Mine are right handed. I like all weapons in a certain hand so when they face each other the weapons will be on the opposite side from each other.

Just wondering, 'cause he's gonna mess up your system. His gun is permanently attached to his right hand. :)

Most of my TF's are right handed, except Alt Siverstreak, I noticed he was left handed in his box art so I display mine that way...
