I would just like to point out that the fact that she had the baby at 9 and that he'd been having sex with her for a year means he was doing her when she was 8. that's like, 2nd grade, maybe third.

Things like the guillotine were used in European countries long before the Reign of Terror. And besides, the U.S. inspired the French Revolution, so it's like *we* made it! I'll be teaching classes on this, as well as thermo diapers next lasttime.

All joking aside, I'm all for the guillotine. It's quick and effective. It's easy to clean (if cleanliness is your thing). It shouldn't need to be constantly replaced. It's less energy (none) dependant. It's ready to go as soon as the jury casts its vote. It's more humane (whatever) than killing criminals with electricity.

Bring back the guillotine! Each second that goes by is a second that a convict could spend being raped by a jailmate. Do we really want to give them the satisfaction of knowing that with each passing second, they might be allowed to live and get raped, while they should be getting their heads lopped off like they earned? If we just brought the guillotine back and fixed some loose ends, our jails should empty out rather quickly.
