If you look at the drawings of the Allspark in the comic prequel, it's got very similar markings. I think they are related.

That is just the signature of the artist. Many artist have symbols or some fancy way to sign or mark the art as theirs.

It kind looks like a sig at first but closer inspectiong, it doesn't look like anything human (i.e. when artists do sigs, they do fanciful version of some type of alphabet or symbols that are at least recognizeable, like anscii/keyboard strokes).

There's already some discussions in the new one sheets/posters thread about this. Someone said it might just be similar to tattoos or warriors mark.

I know many artist who do not use fanciful versions of the alphabet or symbols to sign their art. I thought I'd throw that out there. Though if you look at Primes it looks like a Japanese symbol. It could be a signature in Jap. for both.
Also looking at the posters themselves you cannot see anything else that could be a signature.

Though the idea of a warriors mark or tattoo could be right.

So you are telling me that the team that designed the CGI robot models love the prequil artist SO MUCH that they honor him by putting his markings on THEIR models? Wow that is some sort of flattery! OR ... how about, they ARENT signatures, but rather alien symbols? THAT makes tons more sense. The prequil artist has nothing to do with the CGI design team.

I noticed the one on Megs yesterday. It did resemble Japanese/Chinese Kanji, however it doesn't quite look right wich makes me believe perhaps that it's supposed to be Cybertronian. If you looka t any pictoral depiction of the Cybertronian langauge, it tends to look Chinese/Japanese.

Any way that's my two cents.
