I'm really liking POTP Rodimus Prime. No issues with him. But I would like to see some company make an add-on kit for him. My choice would be Perfect Effect. They did really well with their upgrade kit for Power Master Optimus Prime. But any other company would be okay as long as the quality's good.

    For add-ons I would like:

New arms- arms that connect better, have better exhaust pipes and hand coverings for when in alt mode.
New head for Rodimus- mainly for a better face sculpt. It's not terrible, it just makes him too old looking. I'm okay with Hot Rod's head sculpt.
Weapons for Hot Rod- Accurate blasters, Buzzsaw and Targetmaster Firebolt. I'm currently using Fans project Sidearm which works well enough, but it would be great to have something g1 accurate.

That's all I can think of.

I want this version of Megatron. I know it was a short arc, but it’s my favorite look. Maybe MMC could remold theirs.

I feel like he’s close, but the chest is a lot different and I’d like a Cybertronian tank alt mode. Even though I don’t think he ever transformed in the comics with this body.

After several years of holy grail masterpiece items being released, with characters so flawlessly executed it looks like they stepped out of the cartoon, I'm finding that my taste is drifting back to simpler, goofier G1 toy style figures. I recently bought the G1 Abominus and Computron KOs. I also bought the Fansproject Ryu-Oh-Saurus Shells, and I'll be getting a Glacialord set soon as well.

Bobby Skullface did a video this weekend about the figure of 3rd party, and I think this is the direction I'd like to see some companies move toward. Apparently Glacialord wasn't a huge success when it was released, but I think it may have been ahead of it's time (ironically, since it's a retro figure). Simple, smart engineering, with a clear goal in mind.

I'd love to see some version of the Monsterbots released. I'd love to see somebody do updated Pretender Shells, but keeping the odd, organic, goofy aesthetics of the originals. Power of the Primes is doing shells, of course, but I think they're really sucking a lot of the originality and creativity out of those designs. They're basically just non-transforming bots, instead of the organic/ robotic hybrid look the characters originally had.

I'd also love to see new characters created in that G1 toy style. Look at a figure like G1 Doubledealer-- it's such an odd, beautiful figure, with the colors, the two power masters, and the bird and truck modes. The thing is just weird and awesome. I'd love for some third party company to start creating figures like that again.

I can see a company like Fans Hobby going in this route. They already seem to be very responsive to fan requests, and willing to tackle more obscure characters from less popular eras. They also have an approach to engineering and design that I think would dovetail nicely with a move in this direction. Big, chunky, and relatively simple.

How about a box o’ weapons?

You know, just a collection of fairly straightforward, 5 mm-pegged weapons in various styles (pistols, rifles, swords, melee weapons, etc) and sizes.

No need to be super accurate representations of iconic weapons. No need to be ultra fancy and forged in the fires of Mt. Doom like Dr. Wu’s expensive offerings.

Just a variety pack of plastic, 5 mm peg weapons. Simple. Easy. Guaranteed popular.

I would like to see a 3P secure a niche market doing MP scale Beast Wars toys. With TT's slow release schedule, I doubt that we will see the full cast within a decade.
