This BotCon is gonna be so massive, it's gonna tear a hole in the space-time continuum.

It's kind of funny that they've sold out of TWO hotels before any official announcements other than the place and time. The crazy thing is, is that they haven't even started blitzing the media for advertising. Just shows you how big this fandom is getting!

I like how these are suppose to be discounted rooms. I'm not made of money so I"m going to try and find a hotel for less than $80 a night at least, evenif its a few miles away.

sometimes i forget i live in the land of hasbro. other hotels in the area for you all:

Old Court B&B (awesome place to stay! no kids allowed, it is a refurbished 1800's house), and it is a 5 minute walk from the convention center.

radisson hotel on the harbor it is further away, but just take a taxi, it is no more than a 5 minute ride away.

there is another marriott hotel near downtown, walking distance to the convention center is about 10 minutes.

    hearts, a providence city dweller...

Seriously though, good to see you around again. Haven't spoken to you in ages & I don't see you on AIM :p

Planning on making a similar proclamation this year like you did last year at the bar?

I am beginning to wonder, is there a point of diminishing returns for individual fans as the convention gets more attendees? I mean, consider the possibility for a moment that there's three to five thousand people milling about the convention center. How do the people who want to group up even manage to find eachother?

It's cool that there's this much interest, but surprising that it's grown this large before they've begun their offline campaign.
