I had been tinkering with doing a custom that "embodied" my handle on this board.

I think I have settled finally a base body. The Gunhed kit from Kotobukiya:

The stumbling block for me was always what color scheme to use. I have decided to go with the color pallet from the Bonaparte: Tulcas (Dorvack)

The "Scratchbuilding" for this project will involve making a custom head, gun-hand for the right arm, and installing an articulated "humanoid hand" style manipulator for the left arm. I will post progress pics along the way.

Interesting. I never would have thought of crossing the GunHED with a Tulcas.

Ambitious project! I'll be interested to see how this one progresses.

The two biggest obstacles I foresee will be making a new head that will fit well with the body.
And getting it painted in a way that will not easily scrape off during transformation.

    Ohh? Nice!

I am waiting to get the Koto Gunhed kit in hand so I can get a feel for how large of a noggin I can fit on him
and get in a transformation mechanism in play.

I plan to give it a humanoid face for bot mode, and give it a "5 fingered/humanoid" style left hand.
The rest of it will be for most part be paint work.

    Ebay:
I had a Tulcas as a kid, and I could never figure out if I had it transformed properly.

Should I start a new thread once the painting begins or request that this thread be moved back to 'Radicons'?

I am looking into making the turret compatible with M.S.G./Frame Arms/Armored Core compatible.
This will likely involve a set of interchangeable socket blocks that will plug in and secure using magnets.

    Leaving this here for reference:
