After a horrible xmas period with me spending 9 days in hospital things are now getting better. to celebrate me and my wife are going to have a 3 day break in london so we can see do and buy many nice things. I was hoping some people here could reccomend cool stuff to do. were both into

    comics, action figures etc
    movies
entertainment , the more extreme the better
just generally anything thats not mundane and shit.

    any suggestions?

emm, go to natural history museum to check out the fossils, british museum to see some mummys. then go to orbital comics and forbidden planets near shaftsbury avenue to check out some comics and figures. pop down to regent street/oxford circus, visit hamleys and clothes shops. then head back to odean at leicester square and watch avatar 3D.

Go treat your wife to a nice West End show. I recommend Wicked.

Knock on the Queen's door, ask for a cup of tea.

As someone pointed out, for comics visit Orbital Comics
Here's a handy map so you can find one of the finest comics shops I have ever been in:

When I went, we visited the Picadilly circus, went to a Shakespearan play, ate at a Renassaince style restaurant, and checked out the palace

Orbital is an excellent shop. Forbidden Planet is also very good, but can be pricy. I actually found that of all places Harrods had cheaper prices on some toys.
The Science Museum is super, as is the Natural History Museum (the dinosaurs exhibit actually has a G1 grimlock in it as an example of dinosaur themed toys). The Tate Modern is worth a look, and the Design Museum is fascinating. Sealife is very cool as well.

Things to do in London: avoid playing 'smell my armpit' with some hulking great mentalist on the Tube who hasn't bathed for possibly the entirety of their existence.

(Of course, this is next to impossible during the rush-hour crush - bloody glad I don't have to commute any more...)
