At the end of the first movie, a major battle took place in Mission City, leaving many casualties. And right afterwards, Secretary Keller is heard saying (before "What I've Done") "leaving no evidence..." as the military drops Megatron into the deepest part of the ocean.
......No evidence, but hundreds of bodies :redface2: .... ookay....

Much later, during the middle of ROTF, The Fallen lashes out his attack and televises an international broadcasting regarding the hunt for Sam Witwicky (HEED OUR WARNING). And it just so happens that everyone in the entire world saw that. Now I don't know about you guys, but I highly doubt that the Sector 7 or NEST or whatever will be able to convince everyone on Earth it was a hoax.

    So what does this mean?
Will it be like All Hail Megatron/For All Mankind, where the humans start capturing Autobots and blowing up cities out of fear?
Should the humans seriously be that surprised by an invasion (in DOTM) when the Fallen already threatened one?

    Consult, my friends. Consult.

Well in the final battle of the first movie you don't see any humans dieing. Though yeah the cats out of the bag starting with the scene at Andrews air base where Galloway confronts the autobots with his Humvees.

Hence him yelling at Lennox "THE SECRET IS OUT! This is our war now!"

All the events after this scene happen with the public knowing about the autobots and decepticons. Also involving that shot of the news debate about the transformers that was on the TV in Simmon's meat locker basement.

"You saying you believe in aliens, Tom?" was said when the camera zoomed in on them.
In DOTM everyone now knows about them and its probably going to be that the transformers are going to be a continuing hot topic for debate in DOTM's society.

Remember, there was anti-Autobot propaganda around the filming sites.

There was also a scene involving a fake CNN reporter discussing something about the Autobots in Washington

I remember her talking about the US congress voting to expell the autobots and the UN voting to keep them.

Yep. There were some mail and newspaper boxes with an Autobot logo crossed out on some of them.

Remember the humans in Megatron's master plan part 1?

It's going to be that only much more....drastic.

The notion that no civilians died at Mission City is downright laughable.

Lol I never said nobody dies. I said you never see anyone die. As such you have no clue how many were killed.
