    ...with stickers, don't they?

Sorry, but the flash from my camera makes Dirge's blue appear a little lighter.

They totally do. Well-applied, the stickers really make a fig pop. :D

In most cases, yes - however, if a figure has beat-up stickers, sometimes it looks better with them cleaned off (or one better - get some reprolabels).

And they should look better - the toys were designed with the stickers in mind. That's equivalent to just taking off all the paint apps of today's toys.

Couldn't have put it better myself, d00ds. My Star Saber didn't have his stickers applied when I got him, so I ordered some Reprolabels for him (so I could keep the original sheet unused). I'm so glad I did too :)

I recently just applied the sticker sheet for the Big Powered giftset, and I'm really kicking myself for not getting reprolabels instead. Not because I'm all "wahh, I ruined the value of the sticker sheets", but the damn things aren't sticking too well, and they really are crucial to making the toy "pop".

I have Star Saber and Victory Saber MISB that I haven't cut open yet...thinking I'm probably going to reprolabel them instead of using the original stickers.

They look much better. There's nothing like a minty figure with clean, well placed stickers!:thumb

He means TRU exclusive Comemerative Series (G1 Re-issue) Dirge

As for stickers, I heartily agree. I have a G1 Prowl from a friend, who for some reason applied only two(!) of the stickers (Autobot symbol and "Police") and threw the rest away! When I got the figure in its sorry state, I got the G1 stickers from Reprolabels. I slaped 'em on when they got here and WHAM! My Re-Issue never looked better! Thing is, my friend threw away the stickers to his Re-Issue Powermaster Prime as well, and those through Reprolabels cost about $40 w/ shipping! He's learned his lesson, though.

That was my other (and, to be honest, main) concern; dodgy damn-near 20 year old paper stickers versus brand new high quality ones is no choice at all. However, look on the bright side, d00d - at least you've got a Big Powered giftset ;)
DEFINITELY use the Reprolabels on them.

I felt the same way about my Predaking reissue. All that shiny gold paper just adds an extra bit of bling to it. ;)

i'm not too big on stickers. i got the KO defensor set, and a brave series God Max KO... the stickers were awful, I had to get rid of em. but, as the first post shows, sometimes the stickers really, REALLY improve a figure. For G1/G2, yeah, you want the stickers. i have the TRU Reissue Jazz... he's awesome with his stickers.

i guess it really depends on the stickers themselves.

Yep, have to agree, well-applied good condition stickers really make a great toy look even greater!!

Totally. You're talking about KO supplied stickers? They're bound to be shite. If Reprolabels do a set to fit, you'll definitely do well getting some of them to replace the ones you have.

I kinda know what you mean... part of the fun of getting a new fig was putting the stickers on. :p

I halfway find it fun to do, but I can't say I really miss it. A toy with paint apps looks better, and of course will last longer than stickers.
