Use your imagination. If they could find a way to bring back Spock after killing him off in The Wrath of Khan, they can surely find a way to bring back Ironhide. Or any other character Hasbro wants to market.

McGuyver could rebuild Ironhide using a wirehanger and a toaster, I bet  

 

And some duct-tape.

 

And who would you have take his place? People know Megatron, and possibly Galvatron, but not any of the other Decepticon "leaders". Remember, these movies aren't really for the fandom...they're for the general public who isn't really familiar with the lore and characters Transformer geeks know and love so much.
I bet anything we get Megatron again...and I for one will be happy to see him. I just hope they make him more of a badass, and not the wimpy character we've seen in the first trilogy!

 

Who are the other Decepticon leaders? I didn't know there's anyone after Megatron, Starscream, and Shockwave

 

I would not call megatron a wimp in TF1, he was a badass in TF1, in 2 and 3 he was a disappointment

 

If the Matrix can reassemble itself from a sockful of dust I'm sure something can be done to restore Ironhide from a bucketful of rust if the writers really wanted to.

Or it could be tackled like this:

Michael Bay: "And Ironhide is alive again. No explanation. He's just alive again and no-one will mention the fact he died in the previous movie."

Peoples: "But - "

Michael Bay: "ALIVE!!" *makes stuff explode as a distraction"

Peoples (dazzled): "Pretty lights... And there's Ironhide. He's cool..."

Michael Bay: " And my work here is done..."

Because so many of the general public knew who Megatron was before the first BayFormers movie came out?
If all movies had to rely on the general public knowing who the bad guy in it was before it came out then there'd be very few movies with bad guys made. If a movie does its job correctly then it can introduce whatever new bad guy it likes and the audience will accept it.

Michael Bay said that dead characters stay dead, meaning that Megatron can't be back, and he's been killed twice now. I'm really up for Galvatron as the new villian because he's very similar.

 

Cause as i said i wont accept new villians and cons if the 3 Main cons are kept dead (if they revive 1 or 2 or THE 3 of them, i wil laccept new cons and villians)

He said that characters that died in the past movies (Movie 1 and ROTF) will Stay dead for the third film.

Then again remember he said he would not make a tf4 and dotm woudl be his last, he changed his opinion, thus he can change his mind about dead bots staying dead

 

Right, but would't you rather see Galvatron instead?. He's an upgrade of Megatron, which leads him to be more feared, among the autobots.

Galvatron makes some sense. Megatron = BORRRING (at least for the movies - I like the idea of Megatron returning in my own fantasy G1 world   )
