Here's a thought; after the inevitable climatic battle between Autobot and Decepticon forces, there's a whole crap-load of dead bots lying around. So, who's gonna clean this mess up?

As of DOTM, we have dead 'Cons littering Chicago, a headless Driller lodged in a skyscraper, a warship in the river and a bunch of wrecked gunships. That's a LOT of junk.

What do you guys think? Do the Autobots clean up the mess themselves? Do they simply leave humanity to pick the pieces for them?

Personally, I think the Autobots are in fact recycling the corpses of their victims into spare parts. After all, all the 'Cons they kill equals a lot of raw material. The Driller itself is a whole mother-load of metallic resource. Waste not, want not.

I'm pretty sure the military will be taking care of all that.

Maybe all this Cybertronian rubble about will be addressed in TF4 via the introduction of Silas and MECH...

That's actually a pretty good point. I'd say it could possibly more dumping into the Laurentian Abyss, but RotF showed that even tiny Decepticons like Scalpel don't have much of a problem at those depths. Maybe all that now-lifeless metal has been rid of in the Marianas Trench, the REAL deepest place on Earth?

The Decepticon Sweeps are forced to clean up the mess or Optimus will take their faces.
    Poor guys.

ROFL. Though, to be honest, I'd rather sweep up Decepticon carcasses than die a horrible face-related death XD

Well, after they finished, Optimus would most likely rip off their faces anywho.
He collects faces like we collect Transformers.

LOL, if the military takes the pieces, they'll study them and reverse engineer them into their own weapons. That'll be a problem.

Or it'll be more dumping into the ocean.

    Om nom nom nom nom.

I want this because of reasons. And would make the story 10 times more interesting for me. Enough to even make me watch it.

I think it's very possible that after the events of DOTM, military would be VERY interested in studying these more closely and try to reverse-engineer their weapons (which autobots didn't want to share in ROTF).

Either that, or they'll just let Leadfoot eat them :D

In the comics didn't they have a team who cleaned up after the battles?

But seriously, in the closing scene it would have been nice to see the Autobots try and clean up, and ask human survivors if they needed help.
