shockwave has only revield his true colours they must have back round story for why when he transformedinto shock wave from long arm he didnt just turn purple it would have been alot easier and the purple would be sellt across the world.

Its sad that Animted IS ending but from the look of it, everything is loosely being tied up. I think Starscream WILL get him body back in time for the finale and that Optimus Prime will be awarded Magnus after defeating Megatron "once and for all" with a possibility for a Season 4 if they ever wanted to.

 

I'd still like to know how Animated fared due to internal Hasbro projections. If the Hasbro reps start comparing movie numbers to Animated numbers as the basis for Animated's cancellation, then I believe something besides profit is involved in the decision.

As far as Animated shows go, I think we're done. Which sucks. As for Animated toys, there are a lot of routes that Hasbro could take, and I hope that more figs get to market somehow. I totally enjoy this aesthetic.

(BTW, does anyone know if Hasbro has considered doing a collector club type of release with figs, a la what Mattel is doing with MOTU now?)

Cool. Well, that settles it, Animated, as a show, will be ending with season 3, though we'll still have the remainder of the toy line to look forward to this year.

I do have one question related to this new show. Do you think they'll have something ready to show/tell us at Botcon this year? At the very least the name of it, maybe a short description, and if we're lucky, a design sketch or two would be great. I'd hope for some pictures of some prototypes, but I have no idea how far along they are with it's development.

It'll be interesting to see how this new show and it's toy line effect any of Hasbro's plans to continue Universe, which I honestly hope they do continue. I could see a new show and it's toy line taking precedence over more Universe figures, though I don't think it'll be any different than Animated's precedence over Universe 2.0 last year, where there wouldn't be a character with a similar look in both lines on the shelves at the same time.

 

ANy word if it was CGI cartoon or an attempt at a live action TV series?

I would be fine with a non-animated show as long as its at least as good as animated. I always hoped they would rewrite G1 to be better using the styling of the classics figures. I would be overjoyed with new well done classics.

Sorry. The thought of them trying to do a live action TV series without an ENORMOUS budget made my head freeze.

 

It could also be Universe 3.0.

 

Lying to us until Botcon would've been nice. Not lying to get our hopes up like "Dudes, I just heard we're getting a Season Four and a follow-up series!", but lying like "I still don't know yet". That way we could all cry together instead of alone at our houses. Daaaamn yooou! *shakes fist*
