Honestly within three episodes alot can happen this is the end wether you want to believe my sources or not. I mean honestly most is wrapped up Magnus's ultimate fate and Shockwave are the only two major plot holes left. And with the season/series finale being called ENDgame one has to assume this is the end.

    In television:

    * Endgame episode of Kyle XY
    * "Endgame" (Alias episode), second-season episode of Alias
    * "Endgame" (Babylon 5), episode of Babylon 5
    * "Endgame" (Stargate SG-1), Stargate episode
    * "Endgame" (Voyager episode), the two-hour series finale of Star Trek: Voyager
    * "End Game" (The X-Files), episode of The X-Files
    * "Endgame" (Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode), the sixth season finale of that program.
    * "Endgame" (Beast Machines), the closing story arc of the Beast Machines series.
    * End game, a synonym for "bonus round" in a television game show.
    * The Endgame Syndrome, an episode of Men in Black: The Series

    From Wikipedia.

An example would be Law & Order: Criminal Intent, where the episode name was for the season six finale, but now it just started it's eighth season on USA. I know "Endgame" seems like a final episode title, but you can't use that argument without remembering that other shows that are still going on have used that title.

But right on there it says Beast Machines, a TF series, and that was the name of it's final story arc. I'm assuming the worst when it comes to TF:A. Some predict it will come back after ROTF ends it's run, but the same thing was said about Alternators and the last movie.

What creases me the most about this is that Animated was just starting to get good again, and now they're (possibly) ending it just like that.

I understand the Beast Machines point.

I'm just guessing here, and it's probably mostly because I love Animated more than any other TF show out there. I think it will be back to bridge the gap of ROTF and TF3. I think it's done once it reaches the end of season five or hopefully even six or seven, because that is when TF3 should be coming out.

    What they could do is:

    Season four: March 2010 - June 2010
    Season five: September 2010 - December 2010
    Season six: March 2011 - June 2011
Season seven: March 2012 - June 2012, when TF3 is supposed to come out a few weeks later in July.

    However we shall see.

I believe all Season 3 plot-lines will be wrapped up.

    - The fate of Ultra Magnus (and his hammer)
    - Shockwave (and Magnus's hammer)
    - Omega Supreme with Megatron, Starscream, and now Lugnut

Here are some spoiler things, that Derrick Wyatt has hinted at via Twitter and by some of his poll voting on the boards :p

    - He voted "Yes" to the question of whether or not Starscream would get his body back in time for the finale
    - He has stated "No comment" on whether Shockwave will be colored purple now that his "cover" has been blown

    So you never know!

    That's awesome. I hope
that Shockwave makes himself purple now that he doesn't need his Longarm Prime identity.

Do you have any idea if they'll reveal where in the heck Sari came from/what her purpose is? That's probably the one I'm most interested in seeing some sort of resolution in.

Derrick has kind of hinted that her story is more or less done.

The first two seasons, along with the "Transwarped" beginning of Season 3, was the beginning middle and end to her story. She was created on Earth, as the first "human Transformer", and the AllSpark recognized her and created "The Key".

Sari thought "The Key" was the way to help the Autobots, by fixing them and creating life. But in reality, the key was always meant to go to Sari, to "evolve" her in to the next step, to "transform" her even more, so to speak.

As far as we know, she *IS* the AllSpark now. Whether or not that is addressed in the final 3 episodes, we'll have to wait and see.

So, Kickback. I got a question. Is the two part finale epic?

Bleh. I hope they address it. I mean, yeah she's more powerful now, but she hasn't been shown to be the replacement for the Allspark or anything (she can't create TF life, for example). Plus there's the whole "where the heck did that protoform come from, and why was it so small" issue.

    Hello All!

I like the idea of Animated carrying on in some form. Is it possible that we could have a sequel series to pick up after Animated and the release of RotF? Could Hasbro shop the Animated series to another network? Whatever the future may hold, I have been very entertained watching Animated!

Ijust realised something..the weekend of botcon is the firstweekend following the TF:A finale and it has been said Hasbro are due to make an announcment at botcon...remember Wyatt was quoted as saying that 'Hasbro are going to comment about TF:a cancellation at another convention' (while at TFCON). That can be taken a number of ways.

A comment about TF:A's cancelation, at another convention.
-They'll talk about the cancellation at this other con

A comment about TF:A's 'cancelation', at another convention.
-They'll talk about this 'so-called' cancellation at a different con

A comment about, TF:A's cancellation at another convention
-They'll talk about someone saying it was cancelled at a different con and clear up the situation by saying what will actually happen.

I'm guessing they'll be announcing a 4th season because even with their new channel starting it won't be until the end of 2010 atthe earliest and 2010 is a non movie year so they're going to want some media out there to cover the dry spell.

    Its a simple equation really

TV Series on tv = Increased sales = money for Hasbro = Good

No Tv Series + no film = reduced sales = less money for Hasbro = Sad Hasbro

Toylines with a TV tie in have Higher sales than those without...its proven fact
Toylines with Movie tie in have Very high sales for a short period but once film leaves theatres sales drop off.

I wish there was a few more seasons for animated, but I don't believe for the time being that we will see anything but movie stuff for the next year at least.

Personally I'm still holding out hope that they make a new series after the movie that is simply the continuation of animated. It could be like energon following armada, but hopefully a more direct continuation.

Which is why I believe the company should go down The Direct To DVD route as Futurama and other shows have.

Considering how (Whether it's intentional or not) most networks jerk their audiences around a lot more these days and expect them to swallow whatever is thrown at them.

I personally do not want to see anything along the lines of a Resolute style show or it being handled by Japan anytime soon.
