At one point in the production of ROTF, the twins alt mode was going to possibly be a Smart ForTwo. Brains is a new small character in DOTM, probably bigger than Wheelie but smaller then the twins and a Smart was seen on set being flipped by the twins (unless all scenes with the twins really have been edited out).

Could Brains alt mode be a Smart?

I don't think so, because in the comic adaptation, both Wheelie and Brains were small enough to fit into a dogs kennel.

Brains is supposed to be a
former decepticon turned autobot. Maybe Wheelie's brother/friend/other family member?

I would like the idea, if true.

I am kind of curious to see what this Brains character looks like. All I've seen so far was a pic from the comic, and that was a Magno piece, so...Little hard to make heads or tails of it.

This. The Brains character is described fully in the Rising Storm comic first issue.

From the looks of things, and according to rising issue three I think it is, Brains is a class 500 drone or something. So he's basically supposed to be an update version of Wheelie's model if that's what you wanna call it. I don't think he'll be a smart car though, but I'm interested to see what h'd be like on screen.

Thank You! I'm not a fan of that guy's movie artwork.

I thought people were being kind of hard on the guy at first. But as more and more of his stuff came out, it almost seemed like his depiction of the movie aesthetic got exponentially worse over time.

It's like he draws the characters based on how the detractors of the movie designs see them.
