Hey guys, I have a dilemma.

I'm not too interested in getting the Human Alliance Wreckers we have so far, and I'm wondering if I should be. They're pretty cool, but I don't know if I want to spend 100 for Roadbuster and Leadfoot, and then probably another 50 when Topspin comes out. And I can't just get one, obviously. What do you think?

The HA figures are really good, but definitely not worth $50 apiece. Just get the Deluxes.

I'm a Deluxe Wreckers guy. I'll hold out awhile for a teched-out Roadbuster though.

I'm cooling on HAs cause they have such trouble engineering around that big empty space in the car. Plus, they are more than twice what a Deluxe costs, and they are so big that they aren't really in scale with anything except themselves. HA is a totally neat idea, I just am not going all-in for them.

I also think that one of the major attractions--high-quality licensed car replicas--is a bit lost with Roadbuster. Leadfoot at least turns into a thing that is real. Really it should have been Deluxes as teched-out, HA for the guys who wanted clean Nascars.

Okay, thanks. But, aren't the deluxes bad? I mean, a lot of people say the deluxes are bad figures.. I don't know. Plus the Human Alliances are in scale with Leaders..

Roadbuster is decent...but Topspin is the best deluxe of the line so far.

Go for the HAs. They're pretty good, especially if you do the mods listed in Leeadfoot's feedback thread.

As for the deluxes, I have yet to pick up Topspin (I'm waiting to see what the Twin Twist repaint is going to be like first) but he's got nothing but good reviews so far, Leadfoot's not out yet, but Roadbuster's deluxe isn't that great. Wait for the weaponized version that's going to be in HFTD2.0.

If you get the Deluxes, you can get the Reprolabels, which make them look far better than the HAs. So far, there are stickers for Topspin and Roadbuster, and they said that they'd make sets for all the Wreckers, so they'll most likely make one for Leadfoot too. There are also rumors of a Deluxe weaponized Roadbuster coming out next year, if you want them all weaponized.

Guys, sorry to bring this back...

Most of you told me to get the deluxes, which sounded like a good idea, so i watched the reviews. Topspin looks great, and so is his paint. Leadfoot looks great too.

    Then there's Roadbuster...

Roadbuster's mold is terrible IMO (the side of the car on his arms, the roof on his back, etc) and he's no weaponized. Also, his paint is... missing. He's just the unpainted grey. I know this isn't news to you, sorry.

My point is, if I get Topspin and Leadfoot when he comes out, I'll be obligated to get the crappy Roadbuster... I was waiting to see if they were unveiling the Weaponized one at NYCC today, but as we were all disappointed with no Mirage, nothing else (including Deluxe Weaponized Roadbuster) came. What should I do now?

I'm still really hoping for a Deluxe Weaponized Roadbuster later, but I'm afraid that unless they make one, there's no way you'll be able to have all weaponized Wreckers in scale with each other no matter which size you get. Currently, Deluxe is the only size that has Reprolabels, and the ones for Roadbuster and Topspin look amazing, so between that and the fact that they're cheaper than the HAs, I'd get them.

Roadbuster is great. Topspin is kinda a shellformer, but it isn't that bad.

Well, I guess both are shellformers, but I think Topspin is a bit more. I mean, half the car is on his back. Roadbuster's door go somewhere, at least.
