Megatron hands down. He's too dangerous to be left alone. He's willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his objectives.

Starscream is a close second, but he's too timid to do any real harm (at present).

All other Decepticons, Soundwave included, haven't done a thing worth noting without orders given them:(

Scraplets, hands down. Those little buggers have come the closest to shutting the bots down (except the arctic cold!). Megatron is all fart but no poo. Same goes for starscream.

I'd say Starscream because he has proved a few times just how dangerous he can be with his unpredictability and his tactician thoughts.

Megatron close second because he's as dangerous as he is unstable (space-madness!).

I'd say the corny one-liners of Optimus Prime will bring about the Fall of the Autobots.

M.E.C.H. has the most potential to be dangerous. When push comes to shove Prime wont shoot a human even if it means his own troops are taken out.
Im hoping we'll see just how much this sentiment will cost the autobots when they refuse to respond to an act of open hostility.

All they need to do is use human shields and they've already won.

It doesn't seem to be on the list. a Plodding lack of plot. I want to like this series I REALLY do. but NOTHING is happening. hopefully with Megatron back that'll change.

I was about to say Megatron, but then I voted the cold. It's not like they can fight that.

Megatron coming back WAS the plot for the post episode 5.

Masters and Students, Deus Ex Machina, Speed Metal, Sick Mind and Out of his Head all had event more or less leading to it. Not to mention the other episode connections:

Scrapheap lead into Con Job introducing a new character with promise of returning.

Convoy introduced Mech, a new villain that will be coming back and ties with Predatory for also introducing a new threat that will be teaming up with Mech according to future episode descriptions.

You guys need to give the writers more credit, because nothign they did so far ended up ending in status quo except maybe Speed Metal.

I'm going with Scraplets, Zombie-cons, and Cybonic Plague. I can't decide which ones are more lethal, so here's a run-down:

Scraplets are tiny - stealthy and extremely hard to hit. And damn, when they chowed down on Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Ratchet, they were relentless. If it weren't for the kids, the Scraplets would have just kept eating until there was nothing left. Speaking of which, their main flaw is that they have no instinct to attack organics (YET), but if the kids weren't around, the Autobots would all be dead.

The Zombie-cons are simply re-animated husks, and most likely don't feel pain (Cliffjumper, after being reactivated by the Dark Energon, didn't even yelp when Megatron sliced him in two), so cutting their arm off wouldn't distract them from the only thing on their mind - DESTROY DESTROY DESTROY. Their main flaw is that...well, they're dead, and their bodies are old and deteriorated, so taking them out is fairly easy, but it still uses up energy.

Cybonic Plague is just so damn dangerous. I mean, in a matter of minutes, Optimus was on the road to death. The Scraplets might need some time to chew threw an entire Cybertronian, but the Cybonic Plague is lethal with just a few drops! It was probably sheer dumb luck that they were able to get the anti-virus. That said, unless Megatron tweaks it somehow, the Plague is virtually useless to use on the Autobots.

    Scraplets.

Pretty much everything else they had a way of combating themselves, but if the human children weren't there when the Scraplets invaded, they'd be dead.

    Deeeeeead.

Megatron, hands down. I was tempted to say scraplets, but the Autobots now know exactly how to deal with them, so they won't be as severe a threat if they were to show up again. Megatron, not so much.

Not to mention all of the devastation Megatron has caused throughout the years, something that I'm certain Megatron is all to eager to replicate on Earth.
