Why the fuck do they DO that?

 

Here is something you can do: Go out on the internet, find as many samples of air raid sirens as you can find, and play them all at once with the speakers cranked. It is not the worst sound in the world but it is pretty darn chilling even if you didn't grow up during the worst bits of the Cold War.

 

"Pritstik (1987)" is a pretty bad sound.
