"Full of country freshness and green peaness. Oh, that's terrible, I quit. Just a handful for the road."

I miss the Critic and its references to Orson Welles, voiced by the Brain.

Now I have a Sandra Boyton song stuck in my head:

"Poor lonely peas. So green so round and small. Poor lonely peas. Is there no one that loves you at all?"

She's a children's book author, but a lot of her stuff has been set to music and sung by famous people for kids, including one done by Weird Al about not wanting to take a nap or something.

I knew Raul Julia would be on that list. Poor guy, died so young, died with M Bison as his last credit.

I want to see a list of great actors in horrible movies. find some of the worst movies that big name actors have been in. Like Raul Julia in Overdrawn at the Memory Bank and Street Fighter or George Clooney in Return of the Killer Tomatoes.

So have you ever considered the fact that Transfomers is actually a legitimatly crap film by any objective standard, regurdless of any bias that might be in play?

No, butz I'm NOT mad at you. It wasn't directed at you or anyone else specifically. It was just a small release of my pent of feelings of frustration at liking a movie that no one else beyond the TF community seems to (and even the TF comunity can't agree on it), that's all. If I offended you in any way I apologize right here and now.

RabidYak - It may be crap, but at least it's MY crap. Seriously, I look at it this way. If a film that was meant just to sell more toys, has animation errors up the wazoo, and plot holes you could drive a semi through can still make me love it for 20 years in spite of all that, it must have done *something* very right and that's what I choose to celebrate.

Fair enougth, i'm not ragging on you for liking it. You just shouldent expect that a minor cult following or nostalgic attachment that some people might have to it is any excuse for it to be exempt from being criticized for its multitude of failures as a movie.

How about Gregory Peck and Gene Hackman in "Marooned", a space movie so bad that it was used for an episode of MST3K?

We covered the MST3K angle with "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" which is REALLY bad and makes Marooned aka Space Traveller's look like Star Wars.

Overdrawn at The Memory Bank was a cheap ass PBS movie with crappy effects and a stupid plot. MST3k ripped it to shreds.

No prob. I was just speaking of the social stigma, and Welles' ego.
Personally, its one of my favorite films, and didn't want anyone thinking I didn't like it or something.

    No Prob, butz.

Just out of curiousity does anyone know what Robert Stack or Lionel Stander's last movies were and what they thought of their involvement in TFTM?
