Yeah, but loose arms implies articulation, which is the opposite of a brick, and well....

Oh I forgot about Scavenger... I wander if TJ has him already? I really want to send him something that is Plastic Addict worthy and Scavenger is one that defiantly suffers from an absolutely horrible gimmick.

Battlechargers at least had weapons, even if they were on their shoulders. Throttlebots had nothing going for them.

No he's not. He has shoulders, neck, elbows, upper legs, knee, knee swivel. He is very much not a brick.

Compare him to a throttlebot, who has NO articulation, or energon wing saber, that only has forward and outward elbow movement. Those are bricks.

Some of those with little or no articulation I can think of:

    - G1 Bumblebee McDonald's promo figure (1984)
    - G1 Goldbug
    - Cyber Slammers
    - Bumper Battlers
    - Battle Chargers

I was just going to say Galvatron. He's still a better figure than the Classics one though.

Galvatron actually has a shocking amount of articulation for the time. Forward and backwards shoulder movement, outward shoulder movemet, elbows, inward elbow tilt, waist, upper leg, and knee articulation. I wouldn't call him a brick at all.
