Big surprise - the owner of a site where people like to use autovoter programs got the most votes...I wonder how that happened.

    What is considered influential?
These days, then most influential person is the one with the strongest will within a large crowd. (Herd Theory).

What's funny is that Time puts up a poll asking people to vote who is most influential, and then comes out and says the results are meaningless. then why have the poll in the first place? If they're putting no stock into the results of a poll they created, then why bother in the first place. Not that Time magazine is relevant anymore.

:lol  Didn't we just have a convo about how interenet polls are just useless?

But yeah, the other guys could've had no life and voted too, what was stopping them?

I guess I'm one of the few that actually like the idea of moot gettin some props huh? :lol

I'm not a big 4chan poster myself or anything, but it is a pretty impressive accomplishment seeing as it came out of his basement. And seeing his refusal to sell 4chan or even accept donations to keep it running for various reasons, the kid does deserve some credit.

The creator of 2chan would be a more suitable Time's person of the year. 2chan was pretty influential on the entire internet itself. I mean, because of 2chan we now have 4chan and other spinoffs. And they've all seriously influenced internet culture. Plus, isn't 2chan huge?
