I hear it only occasionally, yet it still bothers me like you wouldn't believe.

 

"Transformers was better than Avengers." That makes me angry, and I don't like that.

 

Opinions are one thing. What bothers me is nonsensical reasoning like "We are Transformers fans, therefore we must prefer the Transformers movies". I'm both a Transformers and a superhero fan, and I'm free to prefer whatever pleases me more. I'm under no legal obligation of unquestioned loyalty to any brand.

 

Still sounds like straw-grasping among those who prefer cels to meshes to me. I can't say I think Prime looks stylistically more like Shrek than any other CG whatever , though Raf does somewhat put me in mind of the young Carl Fredricksen from "Up".

Actually, you only get that moniker if you dislike BW or TFA. TFP and Bayverse was on the same tier, but lost steam for some reason.
