I'm honestly surprised there's no thread about this and we're at episode 2.

Anyways, one videogame separated in five episodes released monthly. Mostly point and click gaming with interactive prompts and decision making. Each decision you make that matters in one episode carries on to the next, character relationships are built on answers and choices you make, *mostly* linear gaming besides the choices.

Your main character is Lee Everet, a man transported to prison in the very early days of the outbreak. Videogames are connected to the COMIC BOOK UNIVERSE, not the TV series. You interact with characters from the comics, main ones and minor cameos, but it's a mostly fresh and new group.

Episode Five [last one] should come out in September\October due to a mishap with the release of episode 2 [delayed almost two months]. Each episode is about two hours long on first try, should shave off about a quarter each subsequent time due to knowing the puzzles and items.

Anybody played this? What are your choices so far?

Also I think spoiler tags might be a must for this thread.

I loved episode 1 and even though my choices might not have been the most common ones I really like how the game progresses and has many branches, making for a pretty personal and unique playthough.

Going by episode 2, the choices aren't as broad as I'd have liked, but they do offer a unique experience provided you do something different each time.

Only thing I don't like in the past two episodes is that character relations are easily fixed or destroyed depending on single choices; almost like everything you did beforehand with that character is erased with each "Wrong" choice for them. I was "best friends" with
    Kenny
the entirety of the first episode and always sided with him in episode 2 until that choice near the end, and now he resents me. Too black or white so far.

In games like this, I usually go through my first run making "good" "paragon" choices (though these aren't so clearly defined in this game), and then be a complete bastard in the second go-round. Then I might do it again and do what I think I might do myself, in that situation.

That's how I'm at it as well; genuine good person except when greatly threatened or treated extremely poorly in my first save. Heck, even though I was a team with
    Kenny
for almost two whole episodes, I chose to
    help Lilly with CPR
    and not
    loot the car
    at the end...

Second playthrough I won't be as nice, heh.

This game was pretty incredible and easily ranks in my top 10 for games this year.

Ye, lovin this game. Final chapter left for me. Too many other games atm now, started Farcry 3 and that is easily one of the best games this year by a mile, along with Alan Wake, Darksiders 2, Max Payne 3 and Borderlands 2 :p

Excellent ride all the way. Tense chapters, great characters, some pretty nice horror moments and a magnificent ending.

My only gripe is that I probably have to keep my two saves because it *looks* like S2 will be an ongoing.

This only leaves me with one save slot to mess around with, right?

I enjoyed the ride the whole way through. May play through again making different choices just to see how some scenarios change. I look forward to the next "season".

Seeing as this zombie thread has reanimated, I wonder if you did this, Joe.
I went back and made different choices in Season 1 and other than the statistics, it changed nothing. Oh sure, it said the characters would remember my choices, or that they were angry with me, or appreciated me, but the game did not change at all.

My favorite is when someone really likes you or really hates you based on your decision, but then dies like two minutes later.
