That doesn't just look playable... that looks FUN!!!!
Looks entertaining. I've been a fan of THQ on a few occasions. Mainly that WCW vs NWO game back on 64.
The music on the character select screen just sold me
THQ is one of the increasingly small list of publishers that don't actively try to make me dislike them (oh Ubisoft, how you have fallen). This game looks pretty good fun, I'd grab a PC version if it ever came to Steam.
Not too bad looking, but can't really expect the world from a downloadable XBLA/PSN title. Kinda looks like a 5 player Robotron type game. Though I do wonder how in the hell the game handles 5 players in a Voltron mode battle.
I don't know, this looks like it'll get bland and repetitive veeery fast.
You mean like a FPS?
Its freakin voltron so....instant buy for me
Like very many FPS, yes. But what does that have to do with anything?
Meh. At least the fans are getting a Voltron game.
I had fun with it. It's not amazing, but it's kind of decent. The Voltron fights just consisted of hitting the right button at the right time, basically. Also, seeing the intro at the start of the game with Peter Cullen's voice narrating sold me on the game. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.
Those wrestling games were the best THQ games they ever made... and for me, the best wrestling games I've played to this day.
It's called a comparison.
And the only way I'm gonna hold a grudge against this game's shortcomings is if they expect us to pay $60 for it.
Its only $10, but I think I'll wait for a sale.
Tried out the demo today and it was actually fairly decent, not nearly as bad as it looked when it was first announced. Will probably purchase the full game sometime this week since I was already gonna pick up a PSN card for those UMVC 3 alts.
Tried the demo out last night.
I actually kinda liked it.
I'll have to try the demo at least.
If you guys are having some fun with it then there's a chance I might as well.
Although the video doesn't really make me feel any better about the game than the one in this thread did.
The Pokemon battles in combined form could be fun with my kids.
But the game should just let you form the Blazing Sword immediately so you can destroy every Robeast in two seconds -except King Zarkon.
im so buying this when i get home in a lil bit >:}
Twin Stick shooter for the Lion bits. The part in the demo was just a Lion level and it looked a lot better than what the videos show of Voltron fighting. Really resisting the urge to buy it but I'll probably break down and get it.
I call Red.
It has some really stupid achievements though, like be in a 5 player co op and be the only one to survive. Stuff like that just leads to achievement farming.
Also, it starts with the shows opening.
I thought the demo was pretty awful. The presentation started off well enough, using Peter Cullen with the original intro. But the actual game is pretty dull.
