Inspired by the other thread Your first comeback toy, I thought it might be interesting to learn what your last toy was, when you stopped buying Transformers for whatever reason.



Mine was Rotorstorm.

I still had not every Transformer I always wanted, but it was a time I realized that they probably won't ever show up again and later Beast Wars did not interest me at all and I got into the age where you stop being interested in toys. Well, that lasted for seemingly 15 years or so *g*

 

G2 Laser Optimus Prime.

Decepticon Micromaster Anti-Aircraft Base. The one that transforms from tank to base, with Blackout and Spaceshot.

 

DOTM Crankcase legion-class.

Then I realised everything else about DOTM that I hadn't yet picked up wasn't worth buying.

I'll only get back into it when Wave 2 HA Basics comes out, or Shocky gets released here (the cyberverse play set one). Till then, will hold off on this toy line, maybe go back and finish Generations.

I guess I'm stopping only one series, and not all of TF collecting, but it's a first for me where I've just hated an entire series.

 

The tf's i bought were Generations Wheeljack, Another Scourge and sadly another Thundercracker with QC.

That was on August 31 or September 1st i don't remember now.

 

The last I bought was TRU MP Rodimus Prime a month ago. The last deluxr figure I bought was Gens Warpath 3 months ago. These may be my final purchase since I don't see anything interesting coming for quite a while and I've decided to start saving a bit more cash.

 

Warpath months ago........Where are you WINDCHARGER!!!!!!

 

I picked up a Whirl yesterday for the clip-weapons, but prior to that it was probably Grapple back in mid-June. If I had seen a Windcharger prior to the United announcement, it would've been on the list also.

If you're counting final G1. Action Master Megatron at 60% off retail, just before Xmas 1990.

G.I.Joe was just way more interesting at the time and it was quickly cast aside.

DOTM Deluxe Roadbuster. Now I'm waiting for DOTM Soundwave, Wheeljack and the Prime toyline

 

I'd have to say DOTM Voyager Shockwave.

This was back in july.

Perhaps when Transformers Prime Voyager Optimus & Voyager Megatron come out.

That or when Classics picks up again.

For now I've been focusing on other toy lines (mainly DC).
