I have the autobot DS version. It's fun, but very difficult in certain situations. I for one don't really like some of the voices and the storyline is okay, but the details made my stomach turn b/c I know some of them are in the movie too and they will probably anger many fans unless they go in very open minded. Optimus and Jazz are pretty good. Ironhides voice is VERY inconsistent...sometimes he kinda sounds a little southern and other times he just sounds weird. Starscream is okay, but I'd have liked a little tougher sounding b/c this voice sounds more cartoony than his G1 voice did. Blackout sounds like a wimp, even though he looks like he's the most bad-ass of the bunch. Barricade is okay.

A tip for anyone who's having trouble is to kill minions/cars and stuff during fights b/c they drop health. Also, if you tap the ranged weapon button, I think it's "y" on the control pad, it fires a powerful attack instead of a weak little automatic gun like when you hold the button down. Does lots of damage really fast. I really hope that this version has a little unlockable G1 content like the PSP and console versions.

yeah i got kinda excited when that clerk said she had them and that they would be out today. called back today and guess what no ps2 copies i am still holding out hope on toysrus which has it listed for friday. i need to quit sweating it and take next tuesday off and be happy we dont have too much time left. for those of you who have it and have played it alot please can we have a g1 skin list. prowl? energon megs?

 

I hope they are wrong, but I kinda expected something like this since it's a movie game.

 

Some of their complaints seemed lame. The explosions didnt have the right oomph? hidden power ups? other giants? destruction occuring all around you was distracting? Ill wait till ign reviews it.

 

They didn't mention anything bad about controls or anything.

The game looks fantastic to me. A little GTA, a little Hulk: UD and a little Transformers PS2 Armada. I can't wait for the Wii version.

After playing the DS I'm super excited for the console version of this game!

 

I just picked up the PSP version yesterday.

So is there any way to play the multiplayer mode against AI opponents? Seems very very silly to have such a cool part of the game unplayable. I can't even start a multiplayer match. Ugh!

Does anyone know if the new release date for the 360 version (the 25th of this month isn't it?) is International or just US?
Because I'm on holidays, and a chance to play it for the next 2 weeks would be bliss.

 

Anyone know where I can DL the opening cinematic with proper audio? All the one's I've found you can't hear Prime's voice over. For the record, it is there but overpowered by the other sounds.

 

so i just found out today that the stores around me will not sell me the Transformers Game until July 3rd because that is the release date. So i preordered my game i never order games but this is a must so now i have to wait for like 2 weeks till i get it they will not sell the game till July 3rd

 

i saw a cardboard advertisement for the 26th at walmart. but target has pushed theyres back to the 3rd on the website more than likely because they ran out of prorders for the 26th. but i will be camped out like a ninja ready to knock over old people and children to get to the robovision copy tuesday in store. lol jk ..... really!

I pre-ordered the Cybertronian Edition today from my local GameStop... it was cheaper in the store. Online it was $79.99 and in the store its only $75.... so cannot wait!

 

I was right about to go pre-order at Gamestop to, I hope it is 75 bucks at mine too.
