I find some of the Unicron Trilogy molds make nice customised updates of G1 characters or they would if I was better at customising.

Still they'll do for my collection. One or two aren't quite finished.


Left to right: Banzai-tron, Swindle, Stranglehold, Ruckus, Getaway, Siren, Catilla, Landmine, Brawn, Sureshot.

Swindle, Brawn and Stranglehold all have Shapeways heads.
Getaway and Siren were scout size kos and I based Getaway on the Breakaway version of the original deluxe mold.

 

I actually picked it up today. It's missing the landing gear (I don't care) tank missle, and horns. Luckily it has the sword and shoulder guns (and one of those useless Energon stars) which are famously absent on second hand copies.

Also, the tank barrel is crushed (chewed maybe?) but luckily I hate that stupid thing so I'm just gonna chop it off. Otherwise it's a nice figure that balances and is more fun to handle. I just need to whip up some new horns. I wish I could find some but this figure's already not super common so finding replacements is gonna suuuuck.

 

Glad to hear that you're happy with him. Even with the things you described, he was a good deal for $15.

 

Aside from a few niks and a scratched Con symbol he's in remarkable condition, actually. I just really, really ned horns for the poor bald goober. I'm trying to make some simple ones now.

Amarda Takara Optimus Prime with Overload, both Unused MIB

 

Decided to re-buy some old favorites this month so I picked up Cybertron Optimus Prime earlier this week and hot damn is this figure even better than I remembered...I currently have him decked out with Leobreaker as his right arm and Megalo Convoy's axe in his left arm and I don't think I'll need to buy a Prime for a long, long time, he makes the new God Ginrai look like a chump. Such a great figure that I decided to track down a copy of Cybertron Galvatron, which I scored for relatively cheap on ebay last night (he's going for $150+ on ebay, got him for $80+shipping)! Cybertron/Galaxy Force was such a great time to be a collector, they make my more modern figures look outdated, I think I might need to track down Wingsaber soon too!

You know what I didn`t understand , is why SCRAPMETAL never got a release that was retooled into the makeshift autobot that the human boy created ( Sorry I`m not the biggest fan of this series and can`t recall his name   ) , I loved his SCRAPMETAL creation , it with his classic humanoid face....Some thing else I don`t get , is why hasn`t SIDEWAYS received a release in TITANS RETURN ? He is a perfect throwback to the series ...

Plus my Armada Megatron's right arm broke off a couple years ago. Is it possible to find any of these guys anymore?

 

I've been trying to find a Universe Ultra Magnus from the two-pack but I can't find one on ebay. :/
IDK whats happened but it's like my UT love had dialed to 11 and now I want to build a collection. I know all the figures I want.

I've also had Energon Black Unicron on my holy grail list for a few years. Really want to find a complete version on him.

 

Anyone here own a Micron Legends Silverbolt (Takara Armada Blurr)?

 

All of these MISB toys you have contain batteries. After all this time do you think you have a problem with leakage? I love the concept of MISB but those batteries scare me to death.
