I know the prime is just so-so in this pack but I still want it for some reason.

Is the Prime the same as of Sons of Cybertron's Prime?

It would be a great $10-12 set. Or maybe surround Prime with G2 small car molds to make him look better by contrast.

I actually like the megatron a lot but the Prime has its faults. It has a nice robot mode but the vehicle mode is complete shit. I paid 10 bucks at big lots long time ago for it but 20... Not worth 20.

My daughter and her mom bought the United version of that Prime for me earlier this year (glad I didn't pay $30 for it!). Love the robot mode, the vehicle mode is OK. I've gotten used to it, though. It's really not that bad.

When you leave it in bot mode. Its so downhill when you start to transform it.

The Megatron toy is worth the price of admission for me. I love the claw arm, and the whole toy is just great.

(Prime rifle is from a KO, and not from the set.)

If the legs were retractable, and the front wheel-wells retracted into the cab, then the design would be pretty much perfect. But they cheaped out on the legs, and the automorph gimmick prevents the front wheels from doing anything.

    Still $20?

I've been passing on these guys for 5 years almost, but I would actually like that Megatron.

Between Prime's awful vehicle mode and weird head, though...

I just remembered I have a KO of that Megatron somewhere. I should learn how to paint by giving him G1 colors. Is there any way to give him a shoulder cannon?

I got that sets a few years back for $6 from amazon. I gave away the Prime and kept Megatron.

QFT. These tiny changes would have been all that figure needed to be a good overall figure. Oh well.

These are $20 at Dollar General? If so I am saving $3 and shipping costs from BBTS.

I think Prime is pretty awesome in his robot mode for this set but yeah, the alt mode needs a lot more loving :lol

I was happy I got both of these figures complete/loose for $5 though
