I remember reading that a re-issue was rumoured for Jan 18.

Great news for the folks who missed out on him 1st time around.

@barry - I do enjoy your reminiscence rambles. I don't know if this particular catalog sheet came out in the UK but I spent flipping HOURS looking at it (if it wasn't from the UK it's because I went to the USA a lot to see family and quite often managed to get TFs - I've still got my original Onslaught box with a price sticker on it saying $9.98) ... and how I coveted these rather exotic looking toys on here.

First time I ever laid eyes on the Fort Max mold was when I bought a Sonokong Brave Max for a steal online somewhere around 2003 or so. And he was (is!) pretty grand, even if the Autobot insignia on his main city tower was factory applied upside fown. But then I ended up getting the Encore version too for more than 3 times the cost of the other, and I'm still pretty pleased with them - I just love the ridiculous size of them, and I'm a total sucker for citybots....

@max - Another brilliant transformation sequence, delicious pictures as usual! I love MP Magnus's transformation too, buttflap be damned!

Yes! I do lament his lacking range of motion, but the 'hold my beer' levels of making a Masterpiece work as both a display piece and legit finger candy is a big fucking deal in a toy that carries more weight than a decent smack to the mouth.

"Five up, five down. It's like shooting Cyber-Ducks in a barrel."

Forbidden Planet London now have one less £55 SS in stock :)

Now watch him turn up for £35 at Smyths...!

I have come to the conclusion that two laws need to be implemented on the London Underground.

    I) Don't stop dead in the middle of the concourse.

II) The slowest person should not walk in the middle of the concourse in a zig-zag pattern.

    It's really not that difficult....

Cheers dude! I can't exactly remember if I saw that catalogue as a kid. If I did, it might not have been until the end of '87 when pretty much everyone I knew got Scorponok. And I'd have done the same with the Sonoking Brave Max, funds allowing. At the height of my city bit mania I was seriously thinking about getting that Metrotitan bootleg. If he'd have come with the micromaster connector ramp I probably would have.

Cheers Jetbolt, he is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the transformation sequence more than I expected. Not posed him with Bruticus yet.

    So Fellow forumites,
Last night I had a dream
and you were all in it. .. yeah... ...well..

Hasbro released a new bot, they just don't know it. It's a titan master and hes priced at 2xtitan master.
He doesn't have a name, but all we have to do is all go at TF NATION and bribe Roberts to put him in the background of some panel.
Without further a due let me introduce... we'll he doesn't have a name .. yet...
    IMG_8401.JPG
Isn't he a thing of beauty?
We could also just have J. Roberts take a group photo with as many of this as we can.
Well if anyone likes the idea I could use some help photoshopping cos this is the best I can come up with

G1 Fort Max is all about the city mode to me for this purpose. He looks so good with a bunch of micomasters crawling over him. I sold G1 Max last summer, but I still have RID Brave Max. Just my opinion but I think his colour scheme (and painted window details) make him just a little nicer.

I like TR Max, but a good 40% of that sentiment is from just how good Cerebros is. The city mode is such a let down. I keep hoping some third party company will come up with a plug in main tower to replace Cerebros in city mode, but alas every 3rd party kit for Max is a gun, sword or hands. boooo

Its a shame hes not multi leveled with a suggestion of height like a city bot should be. Im disappointed I have had to add a gun and sword to mine to acheive his true robot silhouette, that is a shite. He is fun however so can't bash him too much. Solid B from me, if he had an echo of his city form from the original A*
